Here at ABRSM, we are now looking for an experienced Head of Delivery. The purpose of this role is to provide leadership and work closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to plan, implement and drive the success of our portfolio of operational and transformational projects. This individual will play a critical role in managing key delivery projects across the business.
This opportunity offers varied scope. You will be responsible for managing the delivery lifecycle and cross-functional teams for multiple projects. You will ensure delivery teams are hitting delivery milestones, keeping within the agreed time period and budget to support our new strategy. As a consultative Head of Delivery, you will establish relationships with senior stakeholders, managing escalations and budgets, getting into the detail to make things happen. In difficult scenarios, you will deliver and develop recovery plans to be followed by the project team(s). Your success will be measured against criteria including improved customer experience/satisfaction, the development of complex delivery plans and other project driven targets.
Working with the Chief Operating Officer, delivering projects with impact across the organisation, we’re looking for someone who is an excellent all-round programme management lead with highly developed interpersonal and organisational skills. As well as an ability to mentor the project team(s) and coach a customer-centric culture across the organisation.
The Global Operations department is the delivery hub for ABRSM and is responsible for the delivery of Music Theory, Practical and Performance grade exams, Diplomas, Music Medals and other digital and face to face assessments and services across the world. The service given by the department and the messages communicated to stakeholders are significant in our customers view of ABRSM as a whole and in their decision to continue using our services. The successful operation of the department is crucial to ABRSM’s continuing success.
