- Shared responsibility of assessing new volunteer applications, according to Action Tutoring’s guidelines, and carrying out telephone interviews to assess suitability.
- Encourage tutors to book onto training sessions through targeted calls.
- Lead on local ‘on the ground’ marketing.  Liaise regularly with the programme team to identify key geographical areas for volunteer recruitment and identify marketing opportunities to enable this. - With support from the Marketing and Volunteer Onboarding Manager, use the charity’s database to monitor volunteers’ progress through their onboarding activities, identifying opportunities to improve their success rate.
- Identify new, non-partnership, marketing links to build and diversify Action Tutoring’s pool of volunteers.
- Support with coordinating volunteer recruitment event booking and preparations and tutor social activities when required.
- Support with marketing content generation for marketing materials, campaigns, events, website and social media when required.
