We are now recruiting for a Legacy Marketing Manager to develop and deliver our legacy strategy and to embed our legacy programme, which will increase our short- and long-term legacy income.
ActionAid is an international charity that works with women and girls living in poverty. Our dedicated local staff are ending violence against women and girls and helping change lives, for good. We won’t stop until women and girls are out of danger, out of poverty and on track to create the future they want.
We are looking for someone with the ambition to drive forward this vital area for ActionAid UK and to help protect and develop this important source of income. You will be responsible for devising and delivering the strategy, which will set the course for sustainable future growth in this area, thus delivering the utmost impact for women and girls living in poverty.
Legacy giving is currently an underdeveloped programme, with a great deal of untapped potential. You will be tasked with both developing innovative strategies and engagement mechanisms, to inspire new pledgers to the organisation, and with enhancing the journeys of our existing supporters.
This is a fantastic role within ActionAid UK, which offers an opportunity to work with the wider organisation to ensure that legacy marketing activities are consistent across the organisation and that they are embedded into all of our supporter communications and activities.
You will be an excellent strategist and direct marketer, someone with the ability to think ‘big picture’; with the skills and desire to deliver on the ideas you have developed. If you have the ambition to do great things, in a team which will challenge, support and inspire you, then this is the role for you.
We are keen to receive applications from those with knowledge and experience of managing direct marketing campaigns and experience of building excellent propositions, preferably in the not for profit sector, across a range of channels including digital. It is desirable for the individual to have a rounded knowledge of legacy fundraising, though this is not essential.
Interviews will be held between the 13th and the 19th of June 2019.
