The Role
In this role, you'll ensure supporters, volunteers and staff receive timely and effective support. You'll play a crucial part in maintaining the database and processing supporter donations, including direct debits, standing orders and bank payment files, with the utmost accuracy and adherence to GDPR policies.
Your main responsibilities will include entering new supporter information into the database, maintaining supporter records, reconciling donations and managing data imports.
You'll also process Gift Aid declarations and claims, handle direct debits, standing orders and other payments, and maintain subscription schemes. Additionally, you'll assist in handling incoming mail, processing orders and addressing complaints and feedback with empathy and professionalism.

Our client, a leading London university is looking to appoint a temporary Systems Administrator, to provide general ledger systems administration, including cost centres and hierarchies, and other standing data for their finance system, SunAccounts.
This is a full time hybrid role, with 2 days on site, running for 6-8 weeks in the first instance.

About the role
We have an exciting opportunity to join our Edinburgh Skylight as a Receptionist/Administrator in our Edinburgh Skylight Team. You will be there to welcome people who are homeless seeking advice and start the process of helping them to end their homelessness.
You will support the team to manage a busy working environment, welcoming and supporting a range of people including new Skylight members, current members, staff, Crisis volunteers and visitors. You will provide administrative support for this fast and responsive service to those newly presenting as homeless. You will also carry out administration and housekeeping functions relating to the customer service and facilities management of Cranston House. This role is based onsite with no option for homeworking.
About you
To be successful in this role you will be highly organised with experience of working within a reception or administrative support role, as well as experience providing a high standard of customer service. We are looking for someone who understands the issues faced by homeless people and is excited to learn about the ways we can support them. You will be able to deal with challenging situations and individuals with a range of needs, to reach a positive resolution through a calm and confident approach.
You will have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work successfully with disadvantaged or socially excluded groups and individuals. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written will be key, as well as working collaboratively within a team. As you will be the first point of contact for many people, you need to be friendly, enjoy helping and be willing to learn about Crisis and all the other activities taking place within the building.

About the role
As the Head of Service for TST North, you'll be at the forefront of driving positive change and ensuring the smooth operation of SHP’s largest Tenancy Support Service. With a focus on both day-to-day operations and strategic initiatives, you'll play a pivotal role in overseeing specialised projects and ensuring the delivery of high-quality personalised support housing-related and Move-On support.
The Head of Service for TST (North) is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Tenancy Support Team (North) and bespoke projects that support the delivery of the main service. TST North comprises two distinct services funded via the Greater London Authority (GLA) – TST North (main contract), which offers tenancy and Move-on support to 1200 clients housed through the Clearing House Scheme, and TST North PRS which supports 200 clients housed in Private Rented Sector Accommodation.
The Head of TST will hold overall responsibility for motivating and managing the 50+ staff team, ensuring exceptional service delivery, targets are achieved, and clients receive the best possible support to enable them to sustain their tenancies. The Head of TST is required to demonstrate strong commercial awareness, be able to use KPI and outcome data to influence service delivery.
The post holder is required to be agile and dynamic in their approach to engaging and managing the multiple stakeholder relationships across all North London Boroughs, including the development and management of relationships with Private Rented Sector landlords and agents to ensure that Move-on targets are achieved. About you
- Experience in leading large and dispersed teams in either supported housing, advice, homelessness, or other relevant environment.
- Ability to manage multiple service priorities and commissioner/external stakeholders' demands and to remain motivated in a demanding and target-driven role.
- Experience in producing, analysing, and interpreting complex reports and statistics for use in service monitoring or planning.
- A strong understanding of the techniques aims and objectives of working with street homeless people, including those facing multiple disadvantages.
- An enthusiasm and well-developed skill for placing service users at the heart of service delivery and developing services based on their experience.

Your Role
War Child UK uses Salesforce to manage relationships with our donors, supporters and stakeholders including recording all donations made to the organisation. War Child’s Database Assistant (12-month maternity cover) will be responsible for the monthly delivery of the income & data reconciliation processes for the Fundraising Teams, which includes liaising with a wide range of external agencies and the website to successfully download and query files, updating and creating new supporter records on the database, processing cheques and payment requests, and working closely with the finance team to ensure all anticipated and banked income tallies correctly. . The post holder will also work closely with colleagues in the Data Team to support and maintain regular database processes, data cleansing and other database-related functions which happen on a monthly or quarterly basis. This may include responding to and being responsible for Support Ticket queries in relation to income, data, and/or the database generally, and working with external database agencies such as our web platform partners and Salesforce. Aside from these core duties, from time to time you may also carry out general administrative tasks on behalf of the Supporter Engagement team. As the Foundation’s Grants Officer you will work with the Benevolent Service Team to assess hardship grant applications and agreeing grants with the Benevolent Grant Manager deliver and to deliver a first-class benevolent grants and signposting service at the RCN Foundation. The service is bespoke to the nursing and midwifery profession, and this role is essential in making key decisions relating to our grant making activity to individuals in need.

We are seeking an experienced Rent Officer to join our small, dispersed Rent Team which consists of a Rent Team Leader; two Rent Officers, and two part-time Rent Team Administrators which sits within our Housing and Property Services. In conjunction with our Supported Housing Projects, the Rent Team is responsible for the collection of the organisation's rent and other property charges. As a Rent Officer you will manage a caseload of properties and will be responsible for monitoring rent accounts; ensuring that appropriate action is taken to maximize rental income. You will ensure accuracy of rent accounts’ and service users’ information held on the rent management database (Pyramid).
In addition, you will liaise with relevant local authorises housing benefit departments; ensuring positive relationships are forged. You will have knowledge of the external environment in which YMCA DownsLink Group works and keep abreast of key changes, particularly around Welfare Reform.
Hybrid role – mainly based at Reed House in Hove, with an expectation to work out of other locations across the YMCA DownsLink Group area when required. We are an ambitious Hospital charity with an exciting opportunity to join us on our team as a Fundraising Assistant, initially on a three month contract with potential to extend.
We currently raise between £1-2m a year for East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust which has four sites local to Hertfordshire, including the Lister Hospital (Stevenage) and Mount Vernon Cancer Centre (North London). About you
Ideally you will already have experience in an administration or customer service role and looking to start a career in fundraising. You will be looking for 20-37.5 hours a week and can work flexibly including some evenings and weekends to support at fundraising events.
Main duties of the job
- Provide support to the department on a range of administrative tasks including, dealing with enquiries (postal, telephone, email, face to face), opening and sorting post.
- Work to build excellent relationships with donors to provide a high standard of customer care.
- Process one-off and regular donations ensuring procedures are followed and information is recorded correctly onto the database and thank you letters are sent.
- Work with cancer centre volunteers to support the team with administration tasks.
- To undertake specific fundraising projects and attend events as necessary or as required to support the department’s fundraising.
- To assist the fundraisers with administration of staff lottery, raffles and prize led promotion and fundraising as required.
- Support all fundraising activity and represent the charity at internal and external events.
- Manage ‘Gift in Kind’ donations and our ‘Gift in Kind’ Campaigns.
