Sudbury
This is a 12 hour Supported Housing service providing 15 supported housing flats for clients experiencing mental ill health. The service is tailored for each individual with the ultimate goal to help them manage their accommodation and assist them with reintegration back into mainstream housing within 2 years. We also offer a community support service for a fixed period of time. This is designed to help those already living in their own homes receive assistance with day-to-day task and activities.
Stowmarket
This 24 hours Supported Housing service is a mental health, supported housing and community based service, working to a recovery model. We provide a range of support services for people with mental ill health to access in their local community, including outreach support, peer support and supported housing. We have been operating in the area for a number of years and offer a staffed service to our residents aged 18 and upwards.
About you
Experience working as an Administrator is essential. You’ll need to be proactive and adaptable, with excellent communication, administration, finance and minute taking skills and experience, along with experience of completing contract management data reports and of maintaining and reviewing office systems and procedures.

This is a permanent full-time role requiring the post holder to work 37.5 hours per week. About this key role
As Women’s Services Administrator, you will provide vital administrative support to the custody-based team within HMP Peterborough as well as to the wider community-based contracts awarded by the HMPPS to deliver women’s services in East of England. You will also be expected to monitor and manage the receipt of referrals from National Probation Service through the Customer Approved System (CAS) and ensure all inputting through CAS is accurate and within agreed timescales, while also providing activity reports to the Service Manager on a regular basis.
You will also be counted on to be the primary point of contact for all enquiries, external and internal, to ensure communication channels are clear and effective, plus to develop and maintain processes for recording and monitoring resource allocation and to provide administration for meetings as directed by the Team Leader, including bookings, invitations and minute-taking.
What we are looking for
- Experience of managing Customer Relationship Management systems, including inputting data and creating reports.
- Proven record of identifying risk and allocating cases to the appropriate WWC.
- Experience of working in services which provide support to people who have faced adversity and disadvantage.
- An understanding of the barriers faced by people with complex and multiple needs.
- Full UK Driving License with access to a vehicle or willingness to travel within the area.
- Excellent interpersonal, relationship-building and communication skills, both verbal and written.

About the team
Shelter’s HR Delivery team is part of a Strategic Enablement directorate that brings together core support functions such as HR Delivery, Finance, Tech & Data, Governance, Planning and Property. Our role is to partner, support and advise over 1,300 staff on employee relations issues. We also manage restructures and transfers, employee engagement, reward and recognition, staff development and resourcing and payroll processes and ensure effective HR policies and procedures are developed and evaluated.
About the role
As an HR Services Administrator we’ll rely on you to help the team to deliver a great customer service experience and provide administrative support on HR and Payroll matters to internal and external customers alike. You’ll be a key member of the team that’s the first point of contact with HR via our HR enquiries service desk and phoneline, supports employee lifecycle administration and works closely with the payroll team to ensure delivery against key payroll timescales. Answering queries and signposting to the right answers, keeping our Intranet HR Hub up to date with our policies, completing any contracts and other activity associated with changes as notified by Line Managers and processing data within our HR Information System (we use Access PeopleXD) – all are aspects of this interesting and varied role.

Already with some relevant experience (ideally HR, but we’ll consider other administrative experience too) you have a real commitment to continuous professional development and want to develop your skills and knowledge within the HR area. The position:
The primary focus of the position is to support the operational side of the organisation and the Managing Director. You’ll need to be good at multitasking and highly collaborative.

Hours:
This is a part time position of 28 hours per week over 5 days (or some of these days) with the working pattern to be agreed with the successful candidate.
From 1st July 2024 we are piloting a four day working week across the whole of the UK organisation. This pilot is planned to run for 12 months, at which point a decision will be made by our Board of Trustees as to whether this will become permanent. Success of the trial relies on the organisation being able to achieve the same or improved level of impact in four working days as five, with staff experiencing either the same or improved levels of wellbeing.
During the four day week pilot, working hours for this position will be reduced proportionately to 22.5 hours per week, spanning Monday to Thursday (or some of these days), with no reduction in salary. This will be a temporary change to the contractual terms with the successful candidate. The appointed person must be prepared to increase their working hours to 28 hours per week if a return to a five-day working week is decided.

Job Description
- Coordinate the organisation and communication of sports fixtures to home and opposition teams in British Universities and Colleges Sport (BUCS) and London Universities Sports Leagues (LUSL) competitions.
- Support the Campus Manager with the delivery of sports club committee training.
- Act as the main point of contact for sports club captains for sports queries.
- Act as the main point of contact for opposition institutions.
- Coordinate entries into BUCS, LUSL and one-off sports competitions.
- Maintain accurate records of team members and contacts using the systems available.
- Maintain accurate budgets for all expenditure and income for all Team Greenwich Clubs.
- Manage MSL system to support Team Greenwich memberships, events, income and products.

- Collaborate with Team Greenwich Clubs & Members to promote and highlight any events, success stories and impact.
- Coordinate student sports club’s facility bookings internally and externally.

You will be part of our administrative team providing support across a range of functions within the HS; managing Excel spreadsheets, inputting and raising invoices; managing calls to and from a range of people including those bereaved by homicide and generally supporting the Homicide Service to run smoothly. These roles are based in the Essex office in Ingatestone. There may be an option for hybrid working between home and the office. You will be working within a supportive team that is part of a large independent charity which offers the opportunity to develop skills to enhance your ongoing personal development. Working pattern will be either 8am to 4pm Monday to Friday or 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday.
About You
Previous experience is not required as you will receive robust training prior to working directly with clients. However, you will need to have excellent telephone and IT skills as you are required to use a database and undertake all administrative and reporting requirements. You will receive ongoing support to ensure that you can provide victims with quick responses to meet their needs and help them cope and recover.

About the team
At Shelter Bristol we provide housing advice and support to people across the city and strive for change to address the underlying systems that are causing the housing emergency. The range of support also includes legal representation, practical DIY assistance, and welfare benefits advice, so people can address their housing and other related issue. We also raise awareness of housing rights within the community so people can take their own actions and work in partnership with other local organisations.
About the role
You will be the first point of contact for in-person and telephone callers to the service - taking client details, providing information and working with advisers to direct enquiries to the right people.
You’ll provide administrative support functions and have responsibility for designing and developing office systems and processes, data input, extraction and analysis and finance administration. Helping front line staff with case administration, assisting the Hub managers with ad-hoc projects and seeing that our office equipment is properly maintained – all are aspects of this interesting, varied and vital role.

The Role
In this role, you will provide a comprehensive, high-quality secretariat service, particularly to the Bishop’s Council, which acts as the Board of Directors of the Oxford Diocesan Board of Finance (income £28M, assets £520m, over 100 staff) and oversees a wide range of activity.
The Diocese is one of the largest in the Church of England covering the three counties of Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, and Oxfordshire with a thousand parishes, church schools and chaplaincies. It is active in environmental action, addressing poverty and inequality, establishing new congregations and much more.
You will ensure that all Board and Committee meetings are scheduled and organised, agendas created, minutes recorded, and action lists monitored; relevant policies are in place and statutory registers are maintained.
You will be required to work occasional evenings (currently 1 each in May and December) and Saturdays (1 each in March, June, and November).
About You
You do not need to be a practising Christian or have a faith to work with her - around 50% of staff are not practising Christians but are comfortable with the Christian ethos that underpins the work. However, all staff do have a desire to make a difference.
To be successful in this role you will be an initiative-taker with strong administrative, governance support and minute-taking experience and ideally have previously worked with senior stakeholders. You will have strong verbal and written communication skills, accuracy, and diligence, especially in written work and be highly organised. In this role, you will:
- Respond to a variety of enquiries from individuals affected by terminal illness, as well as their families, friends, or professionals. These inquiries may range from practical matters concerning finances or legal arrangements to accessing Marie Curie services, as well as emotional concerns such as grief and loss.
- Utilise the resources available through the Marie Curie Information and Support Service, along with other trusted sources primarily online, you will address inquiries, gather information, and direct individuals to the support they require. This may involve communication via phone, web chat, and other channels, as well as moderating our online community and undertaking additional project work to enhance our service.
- Apply relevant safeguarding procedures when required, to ensure the safety and wellbeing of the individuals contacting the helpline.
- Accurately record information into the database, ensuring data quality and date protection guidelines.
What we are looking for:
- You need to have excellent communication skills, a warm heart and a caring and compassionate soul.
- A genuine interest in helping others, you are patient, adaptable and know how to deliver an excellent customer experience.
- This role can be challenging at times, if you are patient, resilient and a great listener, you will excel in this role.
- Whilst this role will see you spend a considerable amount of time on the phone, there is also an administrative element, so a background in office administration would certainly be beneficial.
- Ideally you will come from a charity, health or social care background or have demonstrable customer service experience from another industry (such as a contact centre)
