About you

Main duties of the job

3. Donor Stewardship and Reporting
- Demonstrate to funders and donors the impact of their support on audiences and communities through the creation of compelling project reports. When necessary, provide evidence including showcasing outcomes, case studies and achievements to supporters.
- Prepare thank-you letters and donation receipts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Additionally, oversee the monitoring of reporting deadlines and requirements and donation reports in conjunction with the CEO and fundraising team as needed.
The successful candidate will have (essential criteria):
- Proven experience as an Executive Assistant, Fundraising Officer or similar role, supporting C-level executives
- An enthusiasm for administration and/or fundraising
- Evidence of a proactive attitude to work and the ability to take the initiative
- 1-2 years’ experience of administration, fundraising and/or marketing
- Evidence of strong verbal and written communication skills

Located within the central team working closely with the Archbishop on a day-to-day basis, this role involves communicating with everyone in the Archbishop’s office and many people outside, supporting the Archbishop’s Diary Manager in all aspects of her role.
As Assistant Diary Manager, you will provide high quality support to the Archbishop’s Diary Manager, to assist them in their role in managing the Archbishop’s day to day and future diary, liaising with colleagues when necessary, and providing wider team support as required.
The working arrangements for this post are 35 hours per week with the occasional requirement to work unsocial hours.

As the Fundraising Assistant, you’ll:
- Communicate with internal dependency teams, external suppliers, rehoming centre staff and supporters to help with compilation of briefs for internal and external teams, research content collation and proofing copy and artwork.
- Brief internal and external teams on all campaign fulfilment requirements and aid in responding directly to supporter queries and complaints generated by the Supporter Retention & Loyalty team’s campaigns.
- Source suitable case studies and gather content for retention and loyalty activities, and act as the direct liaison for all rehoming centre staff.
- Regularly record and circulate fundraising reports.
- Act as the team’s internal communications champion to share learnings and successes with the wider organisation.
- Provide diary management and admin support to the Supporter Retention & Loyalty team.

About the role
The London Library is looking for a Reception Supervisor to be responsible for the efficient running of the Library’s Reception ensuring an excellent customer service experience is provided to members of, and visitors to, the Library throughout our opening hours.
The role includes answering questions about membership and services in person, by phone and email, giving tours to prospective members and assisting with membership processing and administration.
This is a brand-new role for the Library, with a potential to grow and develop. It will join our busy Member Services department and will manage our small team of Membership Assistants who cover the main entrance reception desk.
Liaising closely with the Membership and Marketing departments, the role will ensure that Reception staff are aware of current member offers and other activities relevant to the recruitment and retention of members.
About you
Pleasant, approachable, welcoming, helpful, and responsive even under pressure, you will have proven experience of supervising staff that provide excellent customer service in a customer-service environment, preferably in the charity, cultural or Not For Profit sector.
You will have exceptional inter-personal and communication skills with the ability to convey information clearly and courteously, face to face, by telephone or email.
Your successful performance management experience will ensure that you can lead and contribute effectively to the team and be able to organise your own and others work and time effectively.
Being flexible, willing to turn a hand to whatever needs doing on occasion, whilst being patient, resilient and with a good-humoured approach to problem-solving is essential.
You enjoy meeting and developing relationships with people and have a proven track record of defusing challenging situations.
Most importantly, you will have a passion for your work, literature, reading and writing, and the work of The London Library; to inspire new ideas that create a unique impact on the UK’s literary and artistic output.

Your role
As Assistant Shop Manager at Scope's Hitchin shop, you’ll work alongside the Shop Manager, and use your creativity and flair to flourish in our retail environment. Our retail roles are full of variety, and every day is different! One day you might be be generating and processing stock and designing an eye-catching window display. The next day you might be recruiting and training our wonderful volunteers. Every day there will be a different challenge that you’ll find extremely rewarding. You may also deputise and be responsible for running the shop when the shop manager is absent. A great attitude and willingness to learn are just as important as relevant experience.
