Rose Voucher Project Officer, Southwark Rose Vouchers for Fruit and Veg Project
The Rose Vouchers for Fruit & Veg Project in Southwark has been successfully supporting families with young children to ensure fruit and vegetables are a part of their everyday diet since 2018. As we enter the seventh year of the project, we are now looking for a new member of staff to join the 1st Place Rose Voucher Project team and support our work in delivering the project, while measuring its wider impact on families. This is a great opportunity for someone with experience of working in a community setting and an understanding of impact and evaluation to take on a key role in the project, involving ongoing interaction with families and professionals.
Job Summary
As Rose Voucher Project Officer, you will be working alongside the Southwark Rose Voucher Project Lead to forward the development of the Rose Voucher Project in Southwark. Your key areas of responsibility will be registering new families onto the Rose Voucher Project, overseeing the two Rose Voucher distribution sessions which take place at both our centres, supported by our dedicated Rose Voucher volunteers, and coordinating and supporting the ongoing monitoring and evaluation of the Project. You will also provide support to our network of other Rose Voucher distribution centres in Southwark to ensure they are working in a coordinated way and according to agreed processes.
You will be a motivated individual, with excellent written and communication skills, and proven experience of working in a community setting where service users are valued, listened to and respected. Previous experience working with and signposting families is essential to ensure that our Rose Voucher families are aware of the many services and activities available to support and increase their health and wellbeing. The Rose Vouchers Project is an integral part of the wider Family Hub team at 1st Place, so you will be working in a busy environment, with colleagues who are all as committed to providing a friendly service and positive experience for families as you are.

Gaddum plays a key role in managing the development of the Carers Manchester Pathway, in supporting a Network of Voluntary sector organisations and ensuring that the carers voice is heard in everything that we do.
Following the recent award of a new contract to deliver these services we are looking for a Project Worker to support us in developing a Respite strategy for Manchester unpaid carers and developing and Expert by Experience Carers panel which will ensure that the carers voice is heard in everything we do. About the role
This role will provide financial and operational leadership and management for CCLC particularly focussed on the Legal Practice Unit and the Migrant Children’s Project but with support for the Child Law Advice Service and Coram International where required. Managing a small finance team, the role will hold primary responsibility for core financial functions within CCLC including legal aid billing and management and tracking of grant and other charitable funding. Through systematic and efficient financial management, the post holder will play a pivotal role in CCLC’s financial sustainability. The role will act as a key point of contact with Coram’s central finance team and a range of internal and external stakeholders on financial matters.
The role will also oversee the smooth running of the London and Colchester offices through line management of operations and administrative staff.
The role would suit a high organised and efficient business support professional with experience of financial management within the legal or charity sector. In particular, candidates with experience of legal billing and more specifically, civil legal aid billing, would be welcomed.
This is a largely office-based role in order to fully provide support to the finance and operations team. However, some remote / hybrid working may be possible depending the experience of the candidate after the initial settling in period (to be negotiated with the successful candidate).The finance team are split between the London and Colchester offices and the post holder should expect some travel to both locations. The large majority of the legal and policy team are based in London and as such regular (at least twice weekly) presence in our London office will be expected. The role:
The postholder will be responsible for the design, implementation and delivery of safe, creative and stimulating community play sessions and support groups at venues across Greater Manchester. You will ensure that a range of creative and enjoyable activities are offered to babies and children aged 0-5. You will also play a key role in GISF’s support for global NGO/UN security coordination. This position will provide support to NGO representatives (from ICVA, GISF, and Interaction) on the Saving Lives Together (SLT) Oversight Committee and Working Group. The SLT is a mechanism facilitating security cooperation between the United Nations and the NGO community.
Working with the Research and Communications teams, you will ensure that our members’ interests are represented in global conversations, engaging with the media, and contributing to impactful events. You will work closely with our existing team, supporting the delivery and organisation of the IntoUniversity programme in the centre.

You will ensure efficient office operations and maintain a safe and organized work environment. You will have the opportunity to liaise with all levels of the organisation, from the CEO to the volunteers who work at our community meals. No two days will be the same and tasks will range from organising travel for regional teams, sending out equipment to support new Projects launches, and answering the main office telephone to supporting larger projects like our annual guest surveys.
You’ll provide administrative support to various teams and have responsibility for designing and developing office systems and processes. You will have great organisational skills and relevant experience in an office environment. The Community Energy Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the operational aspects of the Community Energy Services department, ensuring efficient and effective delivery of services. In this role you will:

About You
- You will have proven experience in operational management with an extensive knowledge of the energy sector. You will manage multiple projects and be able to adapt to changing priorities to meet challenging deadlines.
- You will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing operational strategies that will improve efficiency and effectiveness of the Energy Services.
- Your operational expertise will be instrumental when developing staff to ensure the highest standard of service and performance is maintained. Your strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, will be of a great advantage when tracking, evaluating, and reporting the impact of the team's activities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with a range of stakeholders.
- It is essential that you have a good working knowledge of IT including Microsoft Office Products and are confident user of digital technology demonstrating a positive approach to the adoption of innovative products and tools. A Strong background in budget management, data management and process improvement will also be required.
