This is an exciting opportunity to join and support a fast growing and dedicated team supporting the wellbeing of communities across West London.

We’re here to make sure that everyone suffering with a mental health problem gets the help they need to recover. We listen, support recovery, fight stigma and work with partners to take action. We provide services for adults, children and young people, signposting for everyone and training and consultancy for employers.

 

Role purpose

To provide professional, efficient and effective administrative support to the HFEH Adult Services Team efficient and effective running of the charity office and daily business.

Skills Required Communication and people skills: Often being the first point of contact, the Adult Service Administrator will need to possess excellent communication skills. The image of the organisation and its services relies heavily on the ability of the Adult Service Administrator to communicate effectively and sympathetically with a wide variety of people including staff and supporters.

Time management skills: The Adult Service Administrator will need to possess excellent time management and organisational skills to be able to deal with a multitude of tasks and a range of priorities.

Information Technology skills: The Adult Service Administrator will need strong IT skills and be competent in the use of most Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word and Excel. A working knowledge of PowerPoint and Publisher would also be helpful. Knowledge of databases would also be useful.

Problem-solving skills: The Adult Service Administrator will need to be practical, proactive, calm under pressure and able to use their initiative. An understanding of autism and previous experience in the voluntary sector would be advantages.
