We are looking for an experienced Business Development and Advisory Manager to join our committed team, who will hit the ground running.
Key tasks and responsibilities:

You will manage and grow Stronger Together’s business relations in a variety of sectors, both in the UK and globally to generate funding and drive impact. This includes taking the lead in developing project proposals for clients.

You will deliver interactive training workshops and deliver premium quality services to businesses to support them to embed responsible recruitment and fair work and tackle modern slavery in their operations and supply chains.

You will project manage all client projects from start to finish.
The role is diverse with opportunities to generate new funding to drive impact, project manage and implement training and activity with a variety of businesses, and to try out new ideas. You will work remotely, but in close cooperation with the Head of Business Development, and rest of our growing team across the world.
Who you are:

An experienced professional with an in-depth understanding of and subject matter expertise on working with businesses on responsible recruitment, ethical labour practices and modern slavery, and significant experience in business engagement/developing and managing senior management corporate sponsor relations (min. 5 years’ experience).

The ideal candidate should have experience in a business development role, a track record in building and developing business relations, and strong experience of giving presentations, delivering pitches and closing deals.

Experienced in maintaining and developing corporate sponsor relations including writing client and grant proposals.

An excellent trainer, with experience of delivering training to businesses.

A strong project manager and great organiser, with the ability to set and meet demanding targets and deadlines, and to hold others accountable to those.

A professional who has worked with or within the construction, manufacturing, consumer goods, apparel, finance or care sector on responsible business behaviour.

An excellent communicator, both verbally and in writing, with experience of developing and building new successful working relationships with a range of stakeholders, as well as confidence in representing the organisation professionally at a variety of events.

A motivated and enthusiastic worker, able to work independently and with remote colleagues/stakeholders.

Someone with a good eye for detail, whilst retaining sight of the bigger picture.

New Routes Integration
Since 2003 New Routes has been working with, and supporting, refugees, asylum seekers and isolated migrants in Norwich to support their wellbeing and ambitions by providing skill-building and social programmes in a safe and welcoming environment. We promote cross-cultural integration and community awareness, working with individuals and families from over 60 countries of origin. Principle purpose of the post:
The Operations Manager will work closely with the Chief Executive supporting on contractual service delivery (including the management of risk), quality and improvement across the organisation and ensure quality services are provided. This will be informed and implemented by ensuring that our participants have appropriate methods to inform programme delivery routinely.
The Operations Manager will support the Chief Executive in leading and monitoromg service and organisational quality, financial/income activity and expenditure, adherence to policies and procedures, and overall compliance with health and safety activity through a range of measures, including the use of reports and data to make critical and informed assessments.
The Operations Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing the Fundraising Strategy in order to diversify our funding streams enabling New Routes to develop exceptional services that meet our participants existing and emerging needs.
In conjunction with the Chief Executive, the Operations Manager will hold responsibility for ensuring all staff are effectively supported to undertake their roles, and will administer formal HR policies and procedures when standards fall below expectations.
The Operations Manager will provide support and deputise for the Chief Executive when required. The postholder will be expected to demonstrate a high ability to be pro-active in anticipating and managing their workload, and work without high levels of direction.

We are looking to recruit a bilingual, French and English speaking, Grants Officer to join our dynamic team of dedicated sexual and reproductive health and rights specialists. The Grants Officer provides support to the Grants Support Team and Grants Operations Manager across a portfolio of grants, ensuring grants move efficiently and in a timely manner through the grant management cycle. The Grants Officer will be trained to become an advanced user of our online Grants Management System Fluxx and will guide and support users who are less conversant with the system. The Grants Officers also support operational management of the fund with the development and maintenance of efficient operating and reporting procedures.
AmplifyChange is a bi-lingual fund. Due to the current team composition, fluency in French is required, as the postholder will support our Francophone grantees, who are based across West-Africa and occasionally the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.
The role is a Bath-based position and will work closely with team members in the UK and overseas, including our Grants Support Team, our Finance Team and our Fiduciary Risk Team.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Using our online Grants Management System Fluxx, oversee a portfolio of grants through a grant implementation process from grant set up through to grant closure, ensuring compliance with internal procedures
- Act as the operational focal person for grantees and provide support throughout the grant cycle on contractual, operational and reporting matters, drawing on and coordinating expertise from the Grants Managers and Fiduciary Risk Team (FRT)
- Provide support in the preparation and implementation of new grant calls, and support the selection and Due Diligence process when necessary, responding to all applicants whether successful or unsuccessful
- Regularly monitor the completion of pre-contracting conditions by grantees, and obtain appropriate sign-off internally
- Coordinate, draft and issue Grant Agreements and Addendums using our online system
- Provide regular and up-to-date information to operational management by tracking and monitoring grants, and sharing best practice and lessons learned across the portfolio of grants with other staff members and stakeholder
- Track grantee reporting deadlines, supporting timely report submission by grantees
- Monitor grantee disbursements in collaboration with the Fiduciary Risk and Finance teams
- Support team members, grantees and external consultants to be confident users of the grant management system
- Contribute to the further development of our business processes and the grant management system, by sharing feedback and suggestions with relevant colleagues
- Respond to queries from grantees and third-party stakeholders via email
- Provide support to our online grantee community in the Circle platform
PERSON SPECIFICATION
Essential:
- Sensitivity to, and support for, the values and general aims of AmplifyChange
- Fluency in French and English
- Educated to A-level or equivalent
- Excellent familiarity with Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good numeracy
- Ability to build effective working relationships with team members of diverse backgrounds and expertise, both in person and virtual
- Ability to use own initiative, with a proactive and problem-solving attitude

Desirable:
- Educated to degree level or equivalent
- Experience in project coordination or administration
- Experience with grant making and understanding of the grant management cycle including set up, contracting, implementation, monitoring and evaluation
- Experience using Grant Management Software. Experience using Fluxx is a very strong advantage
- Knowledge of, or experience working in, Francophone West Africa and/or MENA region
- Knowledge of donor agency procedures
- Fluency in Arabic, Hindi, Urdu, Portuguese, or other language skills relevant to the fund
REPORTING AND ORGANISATION
This is a UK based, full time (37.5 hours/week) permanent position, reporting to the Grants Operations Manager. AmplifyChange is based in Bath, and we operate on a hybrid working model. Requests for flexible working arrangements will be considered. We can only accept applications from those with proof of the right to work in the UK. Occasional national and international travel may be required.
SALARY AND PACKAGE
Basic salary range: £ 26,000 - £ 29,500 (dependent on experience)
Holiday: 25 days per annum on full time basis plus public holidays
Pension: 8% employer contribution
