Every day, we work with people with mental ill health, complex needs and health and social care challenges to get the help and support they need. If you are an experienced Marketing Executive, then we need your help to tell our story.

We are recruiting for a part time Marketing Executive (37 hours pw) to join our team. This is a unique position in our charity and one which allows you to carve out a name for yourself in the third sector. Working with the Senior Leadership Team, you will manage and maintain the annual marketing calendar, marketing across traditional and digital channels and continuing to build our identifiable brand.

The Role

The post holder will significantly raise the profile of the organisation to commissioners, customers, and health and social care professionals. The Marketing Executive will take responsibility for all marketing activity, including various strategies and projects as needed. They will work with the Senior Management Team to implement and develop marketing plans, including promotional/information materials, email marketing via newsletter and promotional mailings, promotion via social media and Google SEO, PR opportunities, and database management.

The candidate should have extensive experience in all aspects of mainstream marketing/media. Excellent written and verbal communications skills coupled with highly developed interpersonal skills. Must be flexible and open to changing priorities and managing multiple tasks simultaneously within compressed periods and proven ability to oversee all marketing activities.

Key tasks

1. Take a lead on all organisation’s marketing and PR tasks, objectives, strategies, and projects
2. Oversee the production of all marketing materials, including printed documents, media advertising spots, website content, and social media accounts
3. Regularly liaise with Senior Leadership Team (SLT) to discuss objectives and report on activity and updates on marketing progress and result
4. Manage specific projects to facilitate the development of the Marketing output of the organisation
5. Evaluate marketing reports and data to report on activity trends etc. to SMT
