Job description

Can you empower disabled people? Do you have a passion for upholding peoples rights?  Could you give a disabled or vulnerable adult a voice?

This role is concerned with the direct provision of professional advocacy expertise to strengthen voice, champion rights, and change lives of people who may be marginalised or vulnerable. Jobholders would be responsible for providing a direct service to gain positive outcomes for people along with wider impacts. Applicants would desirably have gained a recognised qualification for their technical discipline.

Advocacy Matters vision of the future is for a fully inclusive society where vulnerable and marginalised people’s rights are upheld, their needs and wishes acted on and where their lives are fulfilling and active.
