Hybrid working expectations: London office attendance at least one day per week, in line with any in-person meetings. Able to be in Westminster regularly and at short notice, and available for occasional evening and weekend work.

About the role:

Some services need more than strong management — they need a leader who can hold the whole picture, set the standard and keep young people’s futures at the centre when the work is busy, fast-moving and high stakes. As Service Manager for our Camden Young People’s service, you will lead a high support accommodation service made up of 4 units, supporting 31 young people and providing overall leadership to a team of around 20 staff.

You’ll be responsible for the safe, effective and high-quality delivery of the service, bringing confident oversight across safeguarding, housing management, risk, performance, quality, staffing and day-to-day operations. You’ll lead with presence and purpose, supporting your team to deliver consistent, personalised and trauma-informed support that helps young people build stability, independence and stronger future pathways.

You’ll also play a key role in strengthening partnership working across Camden, including with local authorities, commissioners and partner agencies. From referrals and move-on pathways to Ofsted readiness, data, young people’s feedback and continuous improvement, you’ll make sure the service is not only well run, but constantly learning, improving and ambitious for the young people it supports. At SHP, you’ll also be part of a supportive learning culture, with access to training, development and opportunities to keep growing as a leader while shaping a service that really matters. 

About you:

• You bring strong experience managing accommodation-based, residential, youth, housing, social care or similar services, with the confidence to lead a sizeable team and hold service-wide standards.
• You understand the responsibilities that come with managing a young people’s service, including safeguarding, housing management, health and safety, performance, quality and risk.
• You’re confident supporting teams to work with young people facing multiple disadvantage, using trauma informed, psychologically informed and strengths-based practice to shape meaningful, personalised support.

Job Title: Senior Practitioner Psychologist (internally this role is known as Senior Skylight Psychologist) or Practitioner Psychologist (internally known as Skylight Psychologist)

The Skylight Psychologist role is offered as a development opportunity for candidates in the first 18 months post qualification. There would be the opportunity to progress to the Senior Skylight Psychologist role when they meet the relevant clinical and leadership competencies, in line with Crisis’ Preceptorship Framework.

Qualifications: You must be a Practitioner Psychologist registered with the HCPC. For the Skylight Psychologist role, we will consider applications from individuals due to complete doctoral training.

Hours: Part-time 14 hours per week, Tuesday and Wednesday.

Location: Crisis Skylight London 50 – 52 Commercial Street, E1 6LT This is a primarily onsite role, so you can support our members and team face to face, but some homeworking may be an option in line with Crisis’ Hybrid Working Policy.

About the role

We are committed to ending the homelessness of more people using our direct services, including people with complex needs. To do this, we are seeking a part-time Practitioner Psychologists to join our fantastic team in Crisis Skylight London.

You will form part of the local Leadership team, supporting the implementation of Psychologically Informed Environments (PIEs). You will support the delivery of our work to members by offering training and leading reflective practice for staff and providing direct services to members at times.

You will also be a part of a national psychology team made up of a Lead Clinical Psychologist, a Regional Lead Clinical Psychologist and nine Practitioner Psychologists as well as Trainee Clinical Psychologists on placements.

At Crisis, we understand more and more Practitioner Psychologists are taking on multiple part-time opportunities within the NHS, academia, private practice and the third sector as this has been the case with our own team. War on Want is recruiting a Senior Movement Building and Activism Officer who will play a key role in strengthening War on Want’s contribution to movements for justice and supporting public participation in campaigns.

The Senior Movement Building and Activism Officer will help to build relationships across movements, support grassroots organising and creating opportunities for collaboration, learning and collective action. This will help us build the collective power of our supporters, networks, organisations and movements that War on Want is part of.

The role works across War on Want’s campaigning priorities, with particular relevance to the organisation’s work on climate justice and economic justice, including our call for a Global Green New Deal. At South West Community Chaplaincy (SWCC) our aim is to provide effective care and community support for people going through the Criminal Justice System, including prison. This includes work such as advocacy, mentoring and holistic support to assist the integration of people with convictions into their communities, within the counties of Devon, Cornwall and western Somerset.

We are looking for a committed and motivated individual who will strengthen our team of Community Chaplains to work with people both in custody and in the community. The key functions of the role are:

o  High-quality client-centred, relational mentoring, ensuring that it is trauma informed, solution focused and relevant for those serving, or who have served, custodial or community sentences in order that they would be successfully resettled in their local communities, within the counties of Cornwall, Devon and western Somerset.

o  Manage and support volunteer mentors as they support our clients

o  To help facilitate and assist faith communities in the peninsula to become more proactive partners with prisons, probation, police, Youth Justice Board and other agencies, in working towards the successful resettlement of people who have convictions.

The post is a permanent part time role.

ROLE PURPOSE

This role provides person-centred employment and progression support to individuals facing barriers to financial wellbeing, including homelessness or risk of homelessness. Working with a managed caseload, this role will support participants to build confidence and employability skills, and progress towards meaningful, sustained employment, further education, or accredited training.

The role includes a blend of structured employability support, responsive frontline 121 work combined with corporate partnership skills.  This role will work directly with Freedom Trainees and Mustard Tree clients, supporting walk-ins, referrals, and longer-term participants. This role will represent our values through high-quality, compassionate, and professional service delivery.

This role combines direct participant support, employability delivery, employer engagement working with the Salford Area Manager. You will work across our Eccles and Little Hulton sites, helping create meaningful opportunities that enable participants’ progression.

As a Trainee Multi‑Disciplinary Advocate, you will work across 2 of our local Advocacy Teams. The first Team has a fixed base at Langdon Secure Hospital on Exeter Road in Dawlish. The second Team works remotely across Devon & Torbay as part of the Devon Advocacy Consortium (DAC) whose headquarters are based in Exeter. You’ll support people with a wide range of needs — including mental health conditions, learning disabilities, and physical or sensory disabilities — to express their wishes, understand their rights, and be part of decisions that affect their lives.

What you do need is compassion, commitment, and a willingness to learn.

We’ll support you through:

• Full enrolment onto the Level 4 Independent Advocacy Practice qualification
• Protected study time

• Gradual progression to holding your own caseload
• Development in instructed and non‑instructed advocacy approaches

Once qualified, you’ll move into a full Multi‑Disciplinary Advocate role.
