Job description

Reporting to the Head of Communications and Giving within the Executive Department, you will be at the forefront of delivering our UK Aid Match (UKAM) campaign, ‘By Her Side’ which will run this summer. You will perform a variety of tasks within the fundraising and communications team to support the smooth delivering of the campaign, including preparation for the campaign, regularly collecting data on fundraising, engagement and views to monitor how the campaign is progressing and report back to the Social Change Agency on this progress. You will be good at working in a team in a varied, fast paced environment, and will be given close support and guidance to undertake the tasks detailed below:

Key Responsibilities:

Communications

  • Work closely with the Head of Communications and Giving and other members of the Fundraising and Communications Team to assist in supporter liaison and fundraising communications activities in relation to the UKAM campaign.
  • Support the Fundraising and Communications Intern to ensure all donors are thanked in an appropriate and timely manner.

Fundraising data collection and analysis

  • Work with the Fundraising and Communications Team to monitor the progress of all UKAM events and activities.
  • Ensure the UKAM C2 document is kept up to date with accurate data on fundraising targets, engagement metrics and opportunities to view (OTVs).
  • Report back to the Social Change Agency on campaign data on a monthly basis, and make sure any feedback is passed onto the team.
  • Prepare the end of campaign report for the Social Change Agency using the data from throughout the campaign.

Events

  • Support the Communications and Fundraising Officer with the organisation and on the day support of UKAM events, as well as third party events and any collections that may take place.

Fundraising administration

  • Work with the Fundraising and Communications Intern to cover all general correspondence, which will likely increase in volume during the campaign period, including monitoring email inboxes and processing post.
     
  • Undertake any other duties as and when required by the line manager and/or overview manager.
