Chief Operating Officer 

African Prisons Project work with people in prison putting the power of the law in the hands of the poor. We are committed to pursuing access to justice for those who need it most, across Africa and beyond.

We are looking for a dynamic Chief Operating Officer to lead the day-to-day functions of our organisation. So as to achieve the role, the COO will form a productive and supportive partnership with the Founder and Director General of APP.

Role:                           Chief Operating Officer (COO)

Hours:                        Full time (37.5hrs). 30 days annual leave, plus bank holidays

Place of work:           London (plus approximately 15% international travel per annum)

Reports to:                 Director General

Line management:   Manages the Kenya and Uganda country directors, as well as the finance director based in the UK

Salary:                        £40,000 to £60,000 depending on experience
