This vacancy has arisen as our current Chief Executive, who has been with the charity for the last six years, has been successful in securing another role.
In recent years, the charity has been on a journey of transformation, moving from an organisation that was heavily reliant on commissioned and contracted services, to one which now is primarily in control of its own income generation.
We have an ambitious future strategy and the successful candidate will demonstrate an aptitude for strong collaborative working, income generation and financial management; they will continue to make the organisation even more financially sustainable, whilst continuing to develop and provide high quality services for local older people across Cheshire East.
Our new Chief Executive will have an understanding of the changing needs of older people and empathy for the challenges they face. Supported by a senior management team responsible for 50 staff and 120 volunteers, the successful candidate with work with our staff and clients to build on the work we have already started. If you have the drive and ambition to take this challenge on, and have a genuine interest in supporting some of our most vulnerable people, then we'd love to hear from you.
