Job description

This is an exciting, challenging and rewarding opportunity to be part of a team providing information, advice and practical support to individuals who live in London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham.

The post requires someone who has demonstrable experience and knowledge on a range of issues such as social care, housing and welfare benefits.

The role will involve having a conversation with them and explore most aspects their life – what they are struggling with, what support they are looking for, what they would like to do that would make a difference and then identify and agree a number of realistic and achievable targets to address the issues identified.

As well as having the ability to engage with older people effectively this role requires someone who is a self-starter, can work on their own initiative and is very much a team player. The successful candidate will have energy and enthusiasm and an ability to monitor and develop the project.

We are a locally focused charity in the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham. We provide free, impartial advice and information on a wide range of issues to people aged 50 and over.

This role will be subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service check.
