Operations Director – Performance and Quality

Age UK Leeds is a leading local voluntary sector organisation providing high quality services to improve the health and wellbeing of older people in Leeds.  

This is an exciting opportunity to join our established Senior Management Team to lead the development of a number of new initiatives and delivery of our existing operational services ensuring they continue to deliver excellent client focussed services. 

Starting salary £35,745 to £38,890 + pension 

Working Hours: 37 Hours per week 

As the Operations Director – Performance and Quality you will be directly responsible for providing strategic leadership for our Hospital to Home, SWIFt and Help at Home services. In addition, you will have organisation wide responsibility for;

• The development and implementation of organisation-wide quality management processes, procedures 

• Service user engagement, to ensure that service user involvement is key in the development and delivery of all services, and is embedded in practice and development

• Oversight of volunteer recruitment, development and engagement

As a member of the SMT you will contribute to the strategic development of Age UK Leeds and help shape the culture and core values.  

You must have the ability to work to tight deadlines, prioritise conflicting work loads and delegate effectively. You will have proven ability to build and manage effective and high performing teams Experience of effective partnership working in a health or social care environment is essential for this post.
