We are looking for a self-motivated team player with senior management experience to lead and manage a range of teams, programmes and services throughout the county. You will foster good relations with partners and stakeholders, developing new initiatives for the benefit of older and vulnerable people living in Northamptonshire. You will use your experience of working with the general public and your strategic skills to ensure that our services provide a high standard of care and support for older people.
The Services Manager will recruit, motivate, monitor and line manage the teams providing a range of services across the organisation as agreed and directed by the Chief Executive.
You will work as part of the senior management team of Age UK Northamptonshire consulting with, advising and supporting colleagues, as necessary, to help the whole team to be productive and effective, ensuring that staff in different teams, localities and departments work well together for the benefit of clients. The postholder will be expected to be part of the Directors Team Meetings on an "as needs" basis.
We need someone with experience of working with the general public and a good standard of education, including vocational training that is relevant to the post. We are looking for excellent interpersonal skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to represent the organisation and give talks and presentations to a range of audiences.
