Job description

Hours: Full time (37 hours per week)

Based: Home based

We are looking to recruit a Strategic Director to join our Senior Leadership Team (SLT) with responsibility for our Health, Wellbeing & Dementia Services.

The role will involve managing a team of staff across a range of services including Befriending, Social Prescribing, Brief & Short-term interventions, and a specialist dementia day service.  

You will contribute to the overall leadership and management of the charity as a whole and will have experience of managing a team, meeting project deadlines and thinking strategically. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with other stakeholders at all levels is essential. The successful candidate will also have experience of liaising within the statutory and voluntary sectors, as well as knowledge or an appreciation of the circumstances of older and vulnerable people. You will have drive and enthusiasm, and a commitment to further developing the work of Age UK Nottingham & Nottinghamshire.
