Job description

Strategic Director (Housing & AUBD)

We are looking to recruit a Strategic Director to join our Senior Leadership Team (SLT) with responsibility for our housing related services incorporating our services offering home repairs and improvements, energy efficiency advice, scams education sessions and the Age UK Business Directory providing details of local, trusted traders. The role will also have responsibility for our Men-in-Shed service.

You will contribute to the overall leadership and management of the charity as a whole and will have experience of managing a team to meet project targets, submitting funding applications, and thinking strategically. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with other stakeholders at all levels is essential. The successful candidate will also have experience of liaising within the statutory and voluntary sectors, as well as knowledge or an appreciation of the circumstances of older and vulnerable people. Some experience in marketing services online and e-commerce would be advantageous. You will have drive and enthusiasm, and a commitment to further developing the work of Age UK Nottingham & Nottinghamshire.

*Please note: This role is funding dependent and anticipated to start in January 2022.
