Age UK Plymouth’s Services Manager plays a key part in helping to meet the aims of supporting quality of life through the promotion of choice, opportunity and independence. Responsible for the operational management and future development of frontline services, the post holder will ensure the provision of high quality services, which achieve the best possible outcomes for older people in Plymouth.
The Services Manager will
ensure frontline services are run to the highest possible standard and in line with the requirements of Age UK Plymouth’s policies and meets the statutory requirements.
work flexibly and provide leadership to the staff and volunteer teams within each area of the service (including Day Care, Home and Community Support, and Information and Advice).
Be responsible for the day to day care of service users and the management of the service. This would include liaising as appropriate with the CEO and other departments
This post is for 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. A flexible approach to work is required.
Salary: £29,250 per annum
