Job description

Age UK's CRM team is expanding. We are excited to be recruiting for a Data Quality Analyst to join the growing team. This new opportunity is ideal for a professional individual with experience in database data management.

The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining the quality, integrity, and compliance of data across the database, through regular data import and quality checking activity using the Talend data management tool.

As a Data Quality Analyst, you will also be required to assist in the implementation of new data management processes that will help the organisation to achieve its longer-term ambitions.

The post-holder will develop strong relationships with internal and external clients, to position data at the heart of decision-making processes.

This fantastic opportunity offers hybrid and flexible working between home and a central London co-working hub.

You will have:

* Extensive experience of bulk data manipulation and import procedures within a relational database environment.
* Familiarity with ETL Concepts and Big Data management tools such as Informatica, Talend, SSIS.
* Demonstrable ability in the use of MS Office applications and in particular Excel for data transformation.
* Experience of translating business needs into technical specifications and end user processes.
* Knowledge and experience of using SQL transact queries with relational database platforms.
* The ability to solve complex data problems, visualise data sets, and process large sets of data into SQL Tables.
* Proven experience of testing data import routines.
* Effective communication and negotiation skills with the ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with external suppliers and internal customers.
