In order to do that we need great people throughout the Charity and are currently recruiting for a IT Category Manager / IT Procurement Manager to join our procurement team, and take overall responsibility for purchasing our Digital & Technology requirements.
This is a new role where the successful candidate will provide procurement expertise and oversight, ensuring the Digital & Technology category performs compliantly, ethically, efficiently and cost effectively.
You will develop, implement and maintain an effective strategy for continually improving procurement and spend performance, and provide subject matter expertise to all internal stakeholders who need to purchase ICT goods and services.
What can you bring to the role?
* You should be a subject matter expert on procurement policies and processes
* You will also be able to demonstrate experience within Digital & Technology Category management and your understanding of D&T suppliers and markets.
* Excellent relationship management and negotiation skills with both internal stakeholders and external suppliers will be essential to your success.
* Finally, you will need good data analysis skills particularly within excel.
