Job description

Age UK's Wellbeing team is expanding. We are currently recruiting for a Project Manager to successfully manage the delivery of Wellbeing projects. In this role you will be working closely with local Age UK partners to deliver high quality services.

This role will focus on the set up and delivery of projects and will be responsible for day-to-day project management, monitoring and reporting, budget management and providing support to local Age UK delivery partners to ensure that key deliverables and contractual obligations are met within a robust project management framework.

You will have:

* A successful track record of project management
* Project design and delivery experience.
* The ability to plan and prioritise your own workload to meet deadlines, using own initiative as appropriate.
* Budget and grant/contract management experience.
* Developed and managed successful multi-sector partnerships and relationships.
* Experience of working with a range of funding bodies and reporting requirements.
* Worked collaboratively in a fast paced, complex environment, building networks with a diverse range of people and project managing cross-divisional work.
* Excellent presentation skills.
* Ability to influence, negotiate and facilitate both internally and externally as necessary to secure progress towards programme goals.
* Excellent team working and interpersonal skills with proven ability to network and build effective working relationships and partnerships.
* Strong IT skills, including the use of Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint and Word.
* Strong decision-making skills.
* A commitment to high standards in own and others' work with a strong attention to detail.
* A proactive, creative and flexible approach to identifying and taking forward opportunities, shaping new ideas and partnerships.
* An understanding of issues faced by older people.
* Ideally, experience of working in charitable sector, and with older people
