Job description

Aid Box Community is seeking an experienced and skilled Fundraising Manager to help us continue our vital work supporting refugees and people seeking asylum in Bristol. 

ABC is investing in our first in-house Fundraising Manager, who will lead and shape a strong and sustainable fundraising programme. Building on a strong foundation of support locally and within the grant-giving community, you will cultivate and develop strong relationships with grant givers and individuals in order to grow our income to support our organisational aims.  

From the get go, your role will be to develop our fundraising and communications strategy which will guide you and the organisation to achieve our ambitious fundraising targets that support some of Bristol and the world’s most vulnerable people.  

You will have the opportunity to build a develop the fundraising team at ABC, starting with the recruitment of a Fundraising & Communications Coordinator. Working with this role, you will oversee ABC’s fundraising programme of events, corporate and community giving as well as our external communications.  

This role is suited to someone ambitious, target-driven, with a strong track record in successful fundraising. If this sounds like you, we can’t wait to welcome you to the ABC team!    

We are particularly keen to hear from people with lived experience of the asylum process or those that have worked in organisations supporting refugees and asylum seekers.
