Management Accountant – International Children’s Charity

Are you a recently qualified or finalist accounting professional looking for a management accountant role? Are you looking for exposure to business partnering and the opportunity to work with a range of stakeholders? Do you want exposure to an international organisation that is entering new markets?

This International Children’s Charity are looking for a new Management Accountant to support the finance manager in their growth plans. Responsibilities will include assisting with the production of monthly management accounts, partnering with budget holders, supporting the creation of the yearly budget and performing international bank reconciliations. The salary for this role is £35,000 - £40,000 depending on experience with a joint contribution pension scheme and the benefits listed below.

This will be the right role for you if you are analytical with excellent interpersonal skills, you are able to work with diverse stakeholders with conflicting priorities and posses excellent technical ability across financial packages and the Microsoft suite. You will be close to completing, or have completed your CIMA, ACCA or similar and looking to get stuck in with a new organisation! This role will suit you if you’re keen to get involved with activities that are outside your job description. As part of a small team you will have excellent exposure opportunities outside those of a standard management accountant including working with the senior management team, direct contact with budget holders and heads of departments.

This role requires someone who has experience of working with budget holders, performing financial analysis, producing management accounts and accounting and reconciliation work. International experience, Salesforce and system migration are a plus but not required. Experience working in the non profit or charitable sector will add to your application but is not required, more important are your interpersonal and technical skills and an enthusiastic, get stuck in approach!
