My client is a world-renowned organisation dedicated to the protection, understanding and conservation of our natural world and resources. Having recently promoted internally within their finance team they are now looking to appoint to a new trainee role.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting the financial planning team in the annual budgeting cycle including variance and cost centre analysis.
• Contribute to the month end process including accruals, prepayments and journal calculations.
• Assist with process improvement projects relating to the finance system(s)
• Provide general support to the finance team during busy periods including year end.

The successful candidate will be someone who has already chosen a career in accounting, backed up by both early stage practical experience and professional studies. Now looking to take their first step towards management accounting and business partnering, this role is a great fit for someone who is ambitious, proactive and looking to fast track their career.

This role will be offered on a Hybrid basis 2/3 days working in office.
