Job description

My client is a housing association with the primary goal of providing Londoners with quality, affordable homes. One of the UK’s key housing players, they are also merging with another housing body which will further solidify their standing in the market.

The role of Finance Manager will support the Head of Group Financial Planning and Analysis with the coordination of the annual planning and forecasting. This role will also ensure key regulatory reporting to the RSH is done accurately and highlight any data that can be used for better insight.

Key responsibilities:

  • Co-ordinate the rolling forecast and annual budget to support longer term plans
  • Working with various Directors across the organisation to collect information
  • Leading on and delivering on regulatory reports
  • Financial system improvements including planning applications
  • Ad hoc financial support to the Head of Group Financial Planning and Analysis

The ideal candidate:

  • Qualified accountant with previous experience in the housing sector
  • Ambitious with drive to develop and step up into the role
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Time management and organisation skills
  • Regulatory returns experience from housing is ideal

This role will be home based until further notice but will be flexible when office working commences. You must be available with no more than a month's notice.
