Job description

Our client is a large, well known charitable organisation who play a pivotal role in supporting individuals in families across the country who are dealing with illness. This is a great opportunity for those seeking experience in a world renowned organisation with a brilliant purpose.

The main responsibilities of this role include working closely with the Financial Controller to maintain the Trial Balance and specifically taking responsibility for the Balance Sheet Reconciliations review process. This role also takes responsibility for the Fixed Asset Register and also involves supporting the year end process by providing accurate and timely Annual Accounts.

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

  • A brilliant understanding of Fixed Assets and Balance Sheet Reconciliations
  • A recognised part qualified or qualified accountancy qualification
  • Experience working in a medium/large sized finance team
  • A broad and extensive knowledge of financial controls
  • Experience using SUN
