To bring an end to the UK’s leading cause of death and bring hope to the millions affected by the condition we must continue to accelerate this growth.  This role will be essential in helping deliver our fundraising targets through facilitating an insight-led approach to our fundraising programme. The role will be responsible for delivering data analysis, reporting and data modelling to support ARUK making effective decisions.

Main duties and responsibilities of the role:

  • Deliver reporting and analysis to support fundraising teams understanding their performance, in accordance with agreed deadlines
  • Provide clear insights and recommendations derived from data-driven analysis to fundraising teams
  • Work closely with fundraising teams to understand their strategies, plans and needs to ensure effective reporting is in place
  • Develop and maintain a suite of data models to improve forecasting capabilities, understanding of LTV and propensity to give for fundraising teams
  • Support the CRM programme, playing a key role in the supporter journey and insight workstreams and support several critical projects such as segmentation and measurement frameworks
  • Identify and use the most appropriate techniques/software to ensure analytical outcomes are logically and clearly communicated to relevant stakeholders
  • Build relationships with fundraising teams in order to effectively support their reporting and analytical requirements
  • Work closely with the Digital Team to ensure the effective integration of online and offline reporting and analytics
  • Support the continuous development of data selections, working with key stakeholders to determine how best to integrate insight, testing and regulatory requirements

What we are looking for:

  • Background in analysis, statistical methods and data-driven marketing
  • An understanding and appreciation of CRM across technology, insight, ways of working and culture
  • Good knowledge of data protection legislation and its application
  • Enthusiastic and positive approach to stakeholder management
  • An ability to translate data and insight for non-technical audiences
  • A good working knowledge of SQL
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Extensive experience of using large relational databases and analysis packages
  • Experience of developing advanced statistical models
  • Experience of influencing stakeholders through an insight-led and data driven approach
  • Experience of using business intelligence tools such as Power BI
  • Excellent internal and external stakeholder management
  • Keep abreast of developments and opportunities to further enhance organisational performance
  • A strong desire to improve charity wide performance through more effective practices and insight
  • Creative, positive, proactive and motivated to deliver data insight

Location: Granta Park, near Cambridge.

Salary: Circa £30,000 per annum, plus benefits
