Communications Manager Responsibilities:
We’re looking for an exceptional Internal Communication and Engagement Manager to manage the internal communications across all employees and volunteers. You’ll work closely with the Head of Organisational Development and Engagement playing a key role in informing, involving and engaging our people to actively contribute to the Society and act as ambassadors for all that we do.
This is a strategic role, with access and influence across the organisation, and the ability to work with autonomy and as part of cross Society teams. This is a highly visible role with lots of scope for creativity and innovation.
The role is responsible managing and enabling a fantastic team of highly experienced officers; overseeing a well-established network communication channels and events; and crucially delivering a compelling story so that all our people understand what we want to achieve, how and why, and the vital role they play..
Communications Manager Requirements:
You’ll be an experienced internal communicator with a track record of advising on engagement activities at all level and finding positive, pragmatic ways to deliver results – that are owned and shaped by the organisation’s people.
You’ll be a master at managing the time and the resources in your team - able to absorb a multiple requests and independently prioritise. You’ll be able to ‘make the complex simple’ by telling compelling stories that help us focus and deliver our best every day.
Above all, you’ll have positive, pragmatic, and strategic approach. You’ll be an emotionally intelligent manager and influencer – with a kind, collegiate, solution-focused approach to all your professional relationships.

Hours: 35 per week
Salary: £41,585 - £46,725 actual per annum (depending on skills and experience) + London allowance of £3,600
