Dementia Support Manager

Alzheimer's Society is the UK's leading dementia charity. We provide information and support, improve care, fund research, and create lasting change for people affected by dementia.

Position: Dementia Support Manager
Location: Nottingham, Nottinghamshire
Contract type: Full time, Permanent
Hours: 35 per week
Salary: £22,367 to £23,270 depending on skills and experience

About the role:

We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and highly professional individual who would like to be part of Alzheimer’s Society Dementia Support Service in Nottingham and Nottinghamshire. This is a great opportunity to join our team as a Dementia Support Manager.

About You:

We are looking for a well-motivated, creative and resourceful person, ideally who has proven experience managing paid staff and volunteers. You will have good IT skills combined with an ability to plan and prioritise.

The duties associated with the role can be varied. You will meet many people affected by dementia as well as professionals from the statutory and voluntary sector. We are looking for someone who is an effective communicator and understands the needs of people with dementia and their carers. if you are looking for a post where you can use your organising and time management skills, have experience of managing staff and leading a team, we would like to hear from you.
