About the role
With Alzheimer’s Society’s Dementia Friends programme, we’re building a movement to change the public conversation on dementia. Will you join us?
We’re looking for a Digital and Marketing Assistant to join the team. You will work on this national campaign and be instrumental in helping us to reach our target of four million Dementia Friends by 2020.
You’ll create digital content and coordinate day-to-day posting across Dementia Friends channels including social media, email and the website. You’ll create and report on the success of content and work with the Community
Engagement Digital and Marketing Manager to develop innovative and creative ideas to build our online community.
You’ll support on digital development projects, marketing campaigns, share best practice on digital and marketing to the wider team and you’ll be the first point of contact for Dementia Friends brand requests.
Our ideal candidate will be passionate about the power of digital to reach and engage audiences and will up to date with the latest trends, tools and opportunities.
You’ll be able to create engaging and innovative content, curate content from other teams and be confident using a range of tools for reporting and evaluation of activity.
Being able to build successful relationships across the organisation will also be vital, along with strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
