Fundraising Officer Responsibilities:

We are looking for an experienced and ambitious Events Fundraising Officer who will play a key role in the delivery of the Memory Walk programme. You will:

• Deliver the organisation’s flagship event programme, Memory Walk, which includes the recruitment, event delivery and stewardship of our supporters.
• Plan, organise and manage a number of mass participation events, from event conception to on the day delivery.
• Lead on the delivery of Memory Walk project areas, including marketing, stewardship, volunteering and internal comms.
• Provide the best possible event experience, to increase sign-ups and income, to ultimately support more people affected by dementia.
• Be part of our award-winning Memory Walk team, which sits within our events team as part of the wider fundraising directorate.

Fundraising Officer Requirements:

We are looking for someone with a background in event delivery, and experience in managing mass participation events. You will be;

• Enthusiastic, creative, highly organised and a good negotiator.
• Experienced working across a variety of projects and be able to prioritise your workload effectively.
• A strong relationship builder, both internally and externally, and an excellent communicator.
• Comfortable in recruiting and managing volunteers within an events environment.

Hours: Full time, 35 per week
Salary: £25,806 - £28,181 actual per annum (depending on skills and experience) (+ London Allowance of £3,600 if applicable)
