Market Research Manager

Alzheimer's Society is the UK's leading dementia charity. We provide information and support, improve care, fund research, and create lasting change for people affected by dementia.

Position: Customer Research Manager
Location: London
Contract type: Full time, Fixed Term
Hours: 35 per week
Salary: £41,585 to £46,725 depending on skills and experience plus London allowance of £3,600

About the role:

Are you passionate about market research but would like your work to have a more meaningful impact?

This is a unique opportunity to use your research expertise within a leading charity, to develop an insight programme that will shape Alzheimer’s Society’s fundraising and audience strategy. You’ll lead a small but passionate team, in promoting the use of market research to better understand supporters.

This role is responsible for designing and delivering an impactful insight programme that produces actionable insights. It involves proactively identifying research opportunities and disseminating key insights, to stakeholders at all levels, in a way that will drive change.

About you:

We are looking for a highly motivated and skilled market research professional. You will have a wealth of experience in designing and conducting strategic market research projects. You must be comfortable with undertaking both quantitative and qualitative research, experience of focus group moderation would be desirable.

We’re looking for someone who can lead the team to deliver cost effective research projects with the maximum impact, whilst not compromising on quality. You must be able to synthase data from a variety of sources and be a strong communicator who is confident in presenting actionable insights to stakeholders at all levels.

This is an exciting opportunity and the post-holder will have the chance to shape the Society’s research and insight strategy as we gear for more ambitious growth.
