Compliance Officer

Full Time37.5 hours per week 

Birmingham, London or Manchester  

£35,000 per annum (plus £3,000 London Weighting if applicable) 

 

Who we are looking for 

We are looking for an enthusiastic and talented individual to join our Compliance team as a Compliance Officer. The role will perform an integral function in safeguarding against larger scale operational risks, efficiently managing day to day compliance activities.

This role will also manage and play a part in all compliance related activity, including business analysis, case review and remediation, existing and future process architecture, internal/external audits, management information dashboards, administering compliance systems/documentation and maintenance of both internal and external relationships. Based in either our Birmingham, London or Manchester office, and reporting to the Head of Compliance, you’ll assist in developing, producing and conducting compliance training programs on Ambition’s own learning platforms. You’ll also actively support the sales/marketing team by taking ownership of compliance questions during the onboarding process.

This exciting role is varied and complex, and will require someone with a proven track record in writing/monitoring compliance documents and in reviewing compliance requirements in commercial contracts. To succeed in this role, you’ll need to have grasp of industry standard national and international compliance requirements and have an excellent, general understanding of business operations, their affiliated risk and technical mitigations. A keen interest and grasp of technological solutioning is essential.

You must drive and adhere to best practice, whilst being innovative and collaborative in your approach. In this role, you’ll be at the forefront of advances in automating compliance and must be a passionate advocate of change and advancement in the organisation.
