Job description

We are currently looking for an outstanding HRIS Data Analyst that has experience working with data and maintaining/administrating the systems used within the People Team. You will be in a pivotal position as the data reported will be used to drive business intelligence/performance as well as organisational strategy. 

Role Purpose: 

  • You will lead and produce accurate reporting to discover patterns between data sources, looking to continuously improve how the data is made accessible to internal customers and benchmark our data externally. As a data analyst, you will be analysing large quantities of data and it is important this is presented in a user-friendly way to the organisation.
  • System maintenance and administration is a large part of this role. We have a variety of systems that require ongoing administration, including our core HR system Select HR as well as a performance management system and LMS. You will also lead on all HRIS implementations, planning, pooling resources, reporting, testing and communication to the organisation.
  • We are also on an exciting journey to transition to a new HR system which you will support the delivery of. As the People Data Analyst, you will be the HRIS custodian, to ensure the data's security and integrity and provide expert advice on all matters related to our data. This role will report to the Head of People.
  • You will continue to develop a reporting framework to enhance the organisation's ability to support workforce data analysis which requires knowledge of databases, as well as working knowledge of SQL and advanced Excel skills (Power Query, pivot tables, macros etc.)
  • The People Data Analyst will also provide first and second line support across multiple sites for multiple users, resolving all queries and escalating areas of further investigation to external HRIS support.
