How to apply
Join Amnesty International UK and a team raising significant funds for our life-changing work. By joining our Community Fundraising Team, you’ll play a key part in enabling us to achieve our fundraising strategy and targets for growth. And when you do, you’ll help create a safer, more just world.
About the role
As Community Fundraising Assistant you’ll offer support to the Community Fundraising Coordinators and Manager. You’ll primarily be responsible for the team’s administrative systems, you’ll act as a point of contact for supporters, carry out research and work on specific projects that will enable the team’s plans to grow.
As you will be talking with (and writing to) supporters, you’ll have excellent communication skills and be able to deliver great customer service. You will be comfortable working unsupervised and be able to use your own initiative. In order to support the team’s work, you will be very organised and be comfortable at multi-tasking and coordinating work relating to a number of simultaneous projects. Finally, you will be committed to Amnesty’s aims and objectives and be a passionate member of our Fundraising Department.
Our aim is simple: an end to human rights abuses. Independent, international and influential, we campaign for justice, fairness, freedom and truth wherever they are denied. Already our network of over seven million people is making a difference in almost every country in the world. Whether we are applying pressure through powerful research or direct lobbying, mass demonstrations or online campaigning, we are all inspired by hope for a better world. One where human rights are enjoyed by all.
