About the role
Amnesty International UK wants to reach and persuade more people with its message of freedom, justice and equality. To do this, we are looking for a Digital Engagement Specialist with considerable experience in digital campaigning communications to join our team. Responsible for devising and delivering digital campaigning and content strategies, you will mobilise people through digital channels to take online actions and maximise opportunities for campaign impact.
You will have specialist knowledge in digital campaigning (in the broadest sense – including online actions, petitions, emails), excellent editorial and copywriting skills and a great attention to detail. Experience of using content management systems, enterprise level tools for social media, HTML and photoshop are also essential for this role.
Our aim is simple: an end to human rights abuses. Independent, international and influential, we campaign for justice, fairness, freedom and truth wherever they are denied. Already our network of over seven million people is making a difference in almost every country in the world. Whether we are applying pressure through powerful research or direct lobbying, mass demonstrations or online campaigning, we are all inspired by hope for a better world. One where human rights are enjoyed by all.
We are dedicated to being an excellent inclusive employer and offer the following benefits:
