About the role:

The Andrew Simpson Foundation seeks a Fundraising Officer to join our foundation team in raising significant gifts to transform the lives of the people we work with through sailing. Reporting to the CEO, the Fundraising Officer will be responsible for identifying and developing relationships with grant-making organisations, high net worth individuals and corporate partners who have, or may, support key charitable projects run by the organisation.

There is also significant opportunity to develop and grow community fundraising and individual giving income streams which will form a part of this role’s development.

As the sole fundraiser, you will be required to work closely with other members of the Foundation team whilst also quickly prioritising the opportunities available to you.  This role is a great opportunity for someone with a few years of professional fundraising experience to take on greater responsibility and to direct the future of fundraising at the Andrew Simpson Foundation.

About you:

The successful candidate will inherit an established portfolio of organisations to continue working with and updating but there is huge opportunity to explore new income streams. With a new range of exciting and innovative charitable projects coming up, this is an exciting time to join our team and grow the future of fundraising at the ASF.

You will have experience in major partnerships whether in corporate or philanthropy however candidates with a variety of fundraising backgrounds will be considered. An informal chat before the application deadline can be arranged.

This role is a full-time position of 35 hours a week (although part-time and flexible terms will be considered for the right candidate) which can be based at any of our three UK centres and we can also accommodate some level of home-working. You will also have plenty of opportunities to visit our centres across the south of England as part of the role.
