We are currently recruiting for a Corporate Partnerships Officer to join our team to account manage a portfolio of partners and support our largest partnerships, ensuring excellence in relationship management to the highest standard. You will join us working 35 hours per week and in return you will receive a competitive salary of up to £30,781.96 per annum plus excellent benefits.

This is a key role within the Corporate Partnerships team, working collaboratively across the organisation. We work with a range of valued corporate partners and have ambitious plans to grow sustainable net income each year, to help the thousands of cats that need us. This role will help support the Partnerships Team achieve its income targets by providing high quality support for current partners, partner engagement and excellent stewardship. This role will manage a portfolio of partners to help implement the Corporate Partnerships fundraising plan and increase sustainable net income for Cats Protection as well as support the Corporate Partnerships team in developing new corporate partnerships and develop existing partnerships.
Responsibilities of our Corporate Partnerships Officer:
As Corporate Partnerships Officer you will help identify, research and cultivate relationships with existing partners and to help implement the corporate partnerships fundraising plan, aligned with the wider fundraising strategy.
You will hold responsibility for managing a portfolio of partners providing cultivation and engagement strategies which maximise their lifetime value, using corporate fundraising techniques and support the development of creative and compelling proposals for existing partners and develop inspiring and engaging communications.
You will support the Corporate Partnerships team with larger accounts and projects and the transition of new business accounts to the account management team, liaise with volunteer branches and centres in the implementation of national partnerships, manage the administration and marketing of Payroll Giving and keep concise records of partnership projects on the central database.
What we’re looking for in our Corporate Partnerships Officer:
- Experience of working in a volunteering or charity environment
- Corporate fundraising experience or charity background
- Understand high value fundraising principles, practices and processes, using verbal and written communication to engage, influence and motivate donors to give
- Ability to write compelling proposals
- Experience of using a CRM database
- Have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively – orally and in writing, with a wide range of individuals both internally and externally
- Understanding of corporate fundraising principles, practices and processes, including ethical screening, VAT and logo

Corporate Outreach Manager (Food Business)
Salary: £34,000- £38, 000 (Depending on experience)
Job Type: Full-time 37 hours per week - 12 Month Fixed Term Contract

About the role
We are looking for a highly personable and skilled account manager to join the UK Food Business team. This is an established team, responsible for improving animal welfare standards and developing sustainable supply chains across the global food industry. The right candidate will champion our cause, using our well-respected tools and credible resources to develop, grow and deliver science-based solutions through corporate engagement.
This is a vital role within Compassion’s Food Business Programme and offers a unique opportunity to make a lasting impact for farm animal welfare within a dynamic and influential global organisation. The right candidate will have a proven track record of account management, be a strategic thinker capable of driving change externally by identifying and implementing ‘win-win’ solutions. You will need to be an influencer, a networker and capable of business development. About you
Our ideal candidate will have a proven record of excelling in a minimum 2 of the 3 key pillars of the role, food industry experience, account management and animal welfare advocacy. You’ll be able to remain composed under pressure, exhibit strategic vision, and adapt to diverse needs is vital. Effective communication and timely decision-making are essential.

This is an incredible role at a prominent assistance dog charity where your role will be a part of their essential work that transforms lives every day.
What you will do:
You will be working within a small team to provide housekeeping cover, cleaning and catering for their on-site training courses, and overnight stays by their clients, staff, or other site users. You will be responsible for ensuring all areas of the site are kept clean to the highest standard and support the housekeeping and catering needs in all aspects of the charity's work.
What they are looking for:
- Highly effective interpersonal skills.
- Excellent communication skills across a range of audiences.
- Experience in providing cleaning services.
- Ability to plan, prepare and cook hot and cold meals.
- Basic understanding of nutrition including knowledge of special dietary needs and food allergies.
- Some knowledge of human physical disabilities.
- Level 2 food hygiene certificate or willingness to obtain one.
- Flexibility to take on additional hours as needed.
You will be happy to work as part of a team and on your own initiative whilst being personable and approachable to all service users. The role requires some heavy and strenuous cleaning duties therefore it is essential that you have the physical capability to carry out these tasks safely.

This role benefits from working at their purpose-built training centre in the rural countryside of Osgathorpe, Leicestershire - some local travel to and from the training centre may be required for weekly shopping trips and collecting/dropping off clients. This is a working training centre therefore you must be comfortable with dogs in the workplace.
The basic hours for the role are 22.5 hours per week, normally 3 days per week however hours will vary depending on charity activities. Some work may include evenings (up to 6.30 pm) and weekends to support on-site training courses for their clients. Working hours will be agreed on a 4-weekly basis. Time off in lieu or overtime pay will be available as appropriate for additional hours worked.
