We are currently recruiting for a Corporate Partnerships Officer to join our team to account manage a portfolio of partners and support our largest partnerships, ensuring excellence in relationship management to the highest standard. You will join us working 35 hours per week and in return you will receive a competitive salary of up to £30,781.96 per annum plus excellent benefits.

This is a key role within the Corporate Partnerships team, working collaboratively across the organisation. We work with a range of valued corporate partners and have ambitious plans to grow sustainable net income each year, to help the thousands of cats that need us. This role will help support the Partnerships Team achieve its income targets by providing high quality support for current partners, partner engagement and excellent stewardship. This role will manage a portfolio of partners to help implement the Corporate Partnerships fundraising plan and increase sustainable net income for Cats Protection as well as support the Corporate Partnerships team in developing new corporate partnerships and develop existing partnerships.
Responsibilities of our Corporate Partnerships Officer:
As Corporate Partnerships Officer you will help identify, research and cultivate relationships with existing partners and to help implement the corporate partnerships fundraising plan, aligned with the wider fundraising strategy.
You will hold responsibility for managing a portfolio of partners providing cultivation and engagement strategies which maximise their lifetime value, using corporate fundraising techniques and support the development of creative and compelling proposals for existing partners and develop inspiring and engaging communications.
You will support the Corporate Partnerships team with larger accounts and projects and the transition of new business accounts to the account management team, liaise with volunteer branches and centres in the implementation of national partnerships, manage the administration and marketing of Payroll Giving and keep concise records of partnership projects on the central database.

- Experience of working in a volunteering or charity environment
- Corporate fundraising experience or charity background
- Understand high value fundraising principles, practices and processes, using verbal and written communication to engage, influence and motivate donors to give
- Ability to write compelling proposals
- Experience of using a CRM database
- Have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively – orally and in writing, with a wide range of individuals both internally and externally

Job Summary
- Serve as an integral member of Soi Dog’s Senior Leadership Team, actively participating in leadership duties, and contributing to the charity’s strategic and budget planning.
- Lead the creation, implementation, and management of the strategy and associated plans for International Fundraising, Marketing, and Communications, including active day-to-day involvement in all activity.
- Manage and lead the International Fundraising and Marketing teams, ensuring they meet predefined objectives and targets.
Duties and Responsibilities
Provides leadership for all international fundraising, marketing and communications strategy and plans by:
Planning and Management:
- Provide strong leadership and direct line management to the International Fundraising and Marketing team to sustain, develop and grow fundraising, marketing and other initiatives to maximise income and build engagement and brand loyalty from new and existing supporters.
- Develop and manage the Fundraising, Marketing and Communications strategy and associated plans to meet ambitious targets.
- Prepare and present reports on progress, income and expenditure to the International CEO and the International Board.
- Be aware of current legislations, technologies and trends that will benefit the charity.
- Close monitoring of international fundraising income across all sources, and managing the international fundraising and marketing departmental budgets.
- Procure and manage external suppliers and third parties.
- Ongoing risk management and mitigation, escalating risks to the International CEO where appropriate.
Brand and Marketing:
- Develop and lead on the marketing and communications strategies to expand Soi Dog’s reach and increase global awareness and engagement amongst our target audiences with a multi-channel approach.
- Ensure consistency in messaging and brand across all content including social media, digital and press releases.
- Continue to develop the strategy to proactively secure international press and PR opportunities to build brand awareness.
- Co-ordinate an integrated cross-departmental approach with Visual Creative Director and other teams including, Adoptions, Thai Fundraising and external contractors.
Fundraising:
- Lead the development of strategic plans and initiatives, in collaboration with the Senior Management Team and colleagues, to generate additional revenue streams, and grow existing, for the charity.
- Continuously review and seek new major giving opportunities across philanthropy, Trusts and Foundations and corporate partnerships.
- Ensure the team submits robust and timely applications for grants, and provide excellent ongoing stewardship including thanking and impact reports.
- Execute innovative and creative targeted digital fundraising campaigns across various social media platforms to drive donations.
- Oversee all fundraising activity and be the point of sign off for all communications and outgoing campaigns.
- Cultivate existing relationships with long-standing supporters to maintain stability in regular giving.
- Expand networks and maintaining regular communication with philanthropists, major gift donors, and prospects to establish strong relationships and negotiate ongoing opportunities for support and partnerships.
- Manage relationships with external agencies and contractors to optimise return on investment.
- Ensure accurate and timely income projections and reports, fostering a culture of performance and ambition.
- Keep up to date and comply with current Fundraising legislation and standards of each country and/or regions.
Skills and Requirements
- Proven experience in a senior fundraising and marketing role, with a track record of meeting substantial targets and managing multi-million-dollar income and expenditure budgets.
- Outstanding and demonstrable track record of developing and successfully implementing fundraising strategies across a broad range of income streams.
- Excellent understanding and working knowledge of marketing and communication strategy and implementation.
- Substantial experience of developing individual giving and philanthropy programmes, specifically through digital channels, to drive growth, engagement and long-term value.
- Extensive networking and relationship-building skills.
- Strategic, proactive and ambitious thinker with the ability to motivate and inspire teams, lead on initiatives and engage and build loyalty with stakeholders and supporters.
- Experience in managing change at a strategic and operational level.
- Well-developed influencing, negotiation and inter-personal skills.

Working Hours and Location
- This is a full-time, permanent position based in Mai Khao, Phuket, Thailand.
- 40 hours, five days a week - office based at the Gill Dalley Sanctuary.

1. OVERVIEW
Reports to the Chief Executive
Direct Reports Social Media Assistant p/t
- Develop and deliver a programme of initiatives to maximise income including trusts & grants, one-off and regular giving, legacies and in-memory giving.
- Monitor and evaluate donor recruitment and journey strategies, ensuring the best possible experience for donors, maximising donor loyalty and value and testing new channels as appropriate.
- Review campaign results, analysis and research across the UK market, identifying strengths, opportunities and trends that can feed into strategic plans using the Donorfy CRM.
- Be engaging with the team to bring awareness of how each can play their part in engaging our supporters.
2. SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
Management of People and Projects
Develop and deliver a programme of initiatives to maximise income including trusts & grants, one-off and regular giving, legacies and in-memory giving whilst providing leadership to the social media assistant (p/t) to create a high-performing team that is ambitious, results-driven and donor-centric.
Individual Giving and Sponsorship
Develop, implement and manage fundraising programmes in individual giving to maximise returns from the existing donor base and new donors.
- Encourage loyalty from adopters and maximise our warm donors to keep the relationship alive and they are aware of how much their support means to Rain.
- Develop off and online mail campaigns from concept through to mailing, being part of the copy creation process, ensuring GDPR compliance and ROI.
- Maximise new digital channels to reflect campaigns including website to maximise message reach and income.
- Engage pet adopters and those people we have helped by taking a pet into care, to give a one-off or sign up for monthly giving to generate regular income.
- Develop and implement a stewardship programme including regular newsletters, mailings and online activity.
- Develop opportunities for pet or pen sponsorship from both individuals and corporate partnerships.
- Encourage accompanied visits to the rescue centre site to welcome and keep gifts in wills, high donors, regular giving, Corporate sponsorship and Kennel and Cat Pen sponsorship.
- Work collaboratively across teams to help generate leads for corporate, challenge events and major donors.
- Audit the donor gifts on the CRM system and ensure timely acknowledgements are given.
- Incorporate and implement a legacy fundraising programme, promoting legacies. Manage supporter engagement events throughout the year, and the annual launch of Will Month.
- Stimulate, encourage and support fundraising activities carried out by individuals community organisations and corporations.
- Identify opportunities to raise awareness of Rain Rescue including networking events, working proactively with the media and acting as an ambassador for the charity.
Planning, Monitoring, Analysis and Evaluation
Prepare phased budgets and forecasts in line with activity plans and progress to focus on return on investment (ROI).
Grants & Trusts
Develop a pipeline of charitable trusts and foundations that could support a range of low and high-value projects, and activities across the full breadth of our work including core costs.
- Develop a Capital appeal for a high-value project for site ownership.
- Ensure a strong pipeline of prospects is maintained by tracking and planning applications. Preparing an agreed number of medium-large high-quality funding bids, in line with the requirements of potential funders.

The Role
As Major Gifts Manager, you will bring your expertise in Major Gifts for to the small Philanthropy Team, successfully cultivating and winning major gifts in line with agreed annual targets and the Fundraising Strategy.
You will work with the Senior Philanthropy Manager to evolve and continuously improve major gift activity, including stewarding current donors and helping to secure new major gifts from Trusts, Grant Giving Orgs and Major Donors
Responsibilities will include:
· Proactively identifying and delivering new fundraising donors and income growth opportunities within Major Gifts.
· Personally securing, and stewarding a portfolio of active Mid-Value, Major Donors and Charitable Trusts, forging and maintaining strong and enduring relationships.
· Writing and communicating compelling cases for support, for a range of programmes requiring support – including international programmes, UK welfare and capital.
· Interpreting and communicating complex programme outcomes and impacts to deliver compelling and transparent donor reports.

About You
You will have previous working experience of managing, cultivating, and delivering major gifts, and of planning future major gifts pipeline, along with:
· Demonstrable track record of meeting and exceeding personal fundraising targets.
· Track record of building excellent stewardship and successful relationships with supporters at all levels including high net worth supporters, charitable trusts and other major donors.
· Experience of managing complex donor-centric projects, involving multiple stakeholders.
· Well-developed knowledge of monitoring, evaluation, and interpretation of programme performance, and of project budget management/reporting.
· Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
· Able to multi-task and work with several conflicting demands and timescales.
· Excellent copywriting skills, experienced in creating compelling bids and reports to agreed timeframes. Success in major gifts in one or more of animal welfare, international development or UK capital.
Flexibility will be required for travel within the United Kingdom to meet supporters and donors; therefore a full, valid driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential.
