We’re looking for an Enterprise Architect who will guide the organisation through ongoing digital transformation and optimisation initiatives.
About this role:
As Enterprise Architect, you will:
- Bring the IT architecture strategy in line with the charity strategy to allow Dogs Trust to achieve its objectives in the most effective way,
- Own the overall architecture domains for the charity,
- Produce, maintain, and communicate Enterprise Architecture artefacts, as well as developing policies and standards,
- Work closely various internal business leaders: including subject matter experts, project managers and Business Analysts, and external solution architects to deliver solutions for the organisation.
About you:
To be successful in this role you will need broad technical knowledge, with the ability to design end-to-end systems at a high level, with a clear understanding of a number of applications. We are using Salesforce and Informatica, so we’d love to hear from candidates with experience in these. You’ll also need to be a self-starter, who is passionate and motivated about delivering solutions and takes a proactive, strategic approach. It’s also important that you’re a people person, who is a great team player and excellent communicator, with the ability to engage colleagues from different parts of the organisation, and bring them on the transformation journey with you. Additionally, you’ll need a commitment to the aims and objectives of Dogs Trust.

Job Title: PA to Senior Leadership Team (SLT)
Contract: Permanent
Hours: 22.2 hours per week (0.60 fte)

Salary: Grade C £ 16,888per annum - £19,511per annum (£28,148 - £32,519 pro rata) depending upon experience plus 8% employer pension contribution (pro rata)
We are looking for a highly organised and motivated individual to provide an excellent PA service to our Senior Leadership Team and Chief Strategy Officer (CSO).
You will have previous experience as a personal assistant working within a busy team. You will be skilled in using all Office applications as well as in prioritising and supporting multiple people simultaneously.
You will work independently but also be part of the CEO Office team and will be key to contributing to our wider purpose of saving butterflies and moths.

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB:
To work within the admin team to help provide administration support and answer a busy switchboard within the department under the direction of the PA to The Chief Executive/Admin Manager.
ABOUT THE JOB:
An experienced and capable administrator with excellent literacy, numeracy and organisational skills, you will work within the admin team to assist with data entry, incoming and outgoing mail as and when needed. You may, on occasion, assist other teams within The Trust with their duties.
Reception tasks will include answering all incoming telephone calls promptly, meeting and greeting visitors to reception and assisting with data entry and correspondence.
A good telephone manner is essential, together with excellent literacy and IT skills, coupled with the ability to work to tight deadlines, often under pressure.
This is a sensitive role which requires an individual with the ability to handle confidential information and empathise with our clients. In addition, a compassionate, professional public image and the ability to liaise and communicate at all levels with sincerity, warmth, efficiency and flexibility is essential.
To liaise with all other staff of the Trust in a flexible manner.
Together with such additional general duties as the Employer shall reasonably require, having regard to the needs of the Employer’s business as a Charitable Trust.

Head of IS and Data Management
These are exciting times for the Charity and we have an excellent opportunity for a proactive, flexible and professional individual with outstanding influencing and collaborative skills and a strong customer service ethic to join the busy IT Infrastructure and Operations team, as Head of IS and Data Management.
Position: 1625 Head of IS and Data Management
Location: Remote (expectancy to attend site in Sidmouth, Devon is currently 1 day every other month)
Hours: Full-time, 35 hours per week, 08.30-16.30, Monday-Friday
Salary: £67,652 per annum
Contract: Fixed term contract starting as soon as possible until 20 December 2024

The Role
As Head of IS and Data Management you will be responsible for implementing our IS and Data Strategy and driving efficiency using technology across Sanctuary. You will lead on the strategic development, management and operating of the IS systems and data infrastructure whilst managing and motivating the teams to deliver an efficient service across the Charity.
Responsibilities will include:
- Implementing and managing the IS and data strategy which drives the future direction and utilisation of technology within the charity to drive efficiencies and defining business relevant KPI’s to measure its benefits and success.
- Designing and implementing a new target operating model of the charity’s support requirements and implementing standard processes and standard protocols (e.g. ITIL), to improve ongoing controls, customer service, and build a culture of continuous improvement.
- Leading the certification of Cyber Essentials Plus accreditation and ensure ongoing compliance.
- Implementing standards and operating practices for data management, information lifecycle management and security (e.g. cyber essentials plus).
- Leading and continually improving the operational performance of the team to agreed service level agreements.
- Supporting the development of business cases, including presenting on behalf of the Executive Team to the board of Trustees.
- Supporting the Director of Information Systems and Data Management as necessary in championing the use of technology as an innovator and cost reduction enabler.
About You
Educated to degree level or equivalent qualification and/or relevant professional experience, you will have a comprehensive awareness of existing and developing technologies and how they can be applied to the business.
You will also:
- Be able to recognise business opportunities and experience of presenting a clear strategic vision of how technology can be applied to achieve success.
- Be able to demonstrate experience of, implementing and managing IT strategies and priorities.
- Have experience of managing n-tier architectures hosted in private and public cloud environments.
- Have a strong working knowledge of fundamental computing concepts to support trouble shooting, problem solving and critical thinking methodologies.
- Have proven management experience, including performance management.
