Who we are

Our vision is to end cruelty and restore respect for all animals throughout Asia. 

Our mission is to end the farming of bears for bile in Vietnam and China, provide sanctuary for bears, end the suffering of wild animals in captivity and ensure humane treatment of dogs and cats. 

We are a dynamic, progressive, global charity with programmes in China, Vietnam and Hong and fundraising teams in the UK, Germany, US, Australia and Hong Kong.  We have donor care teams who are office based but most fundraising employees work from home, successfuly using Skype, WebEx and Google drive to create an effective working platform. 

We have a highly skilled, world class team of fundraising professionals raising over $10m globally each year but this is growing fast and has the potential to increase significantly.

We are an exceptionally dedicated team, as diligent as we are passionate and motivated by a collective sense of purpose and progress.

Fundraisers at Animals Asia get the opportunity and freedom to manage their remits autonomously whilst also working closely with the wider team to learn and gain experience in other fundraising disciplines. 

Our values are important to us both around animal welfare and donor care.  Our donors have a real voice here - they are part of the family and we listen to what they say, acting accordingly when we need to.

Many fundraisers and employees have been with the charity for over 10 years, testament to the way employees are valued and the enjoyment we all take from our roles and our colleagues.
