The Anne Frank Trust UK is an education charity that envisages a society safe from prejudice and discrimination. Drawing on the power of Anne’s life and diary in a contemporary context we educate young people about the damage prejudice and hateful attitudes cause and empower them with the knowledge, skills and confidence to challenge all forms of prejudice and discrimination.
We seek a talented project officer to join our education team. Delivering various educational programmes in predominantly secondary schools; such as our innovative peer education model 'A History for Today; Voices for Tomorrow' which installs our travelling exhibition in schools, training young people to become peer guides and facilitating tours. We run workshops on a wide range of topics covering History, Citizenship, RE, PSHE & English. Candidates should have experience of working with young people as this primarily a delivery role.
The role will involve travel across the North West region (and ocassional travel across the UK) but will primarily focus on achieveing targets in the Cheshire region.
In addition to delivery the successful applicant may be asked to contribute to the development and review of resources aswell as other project related tasks.
This post has been funded initially for 6 months to cover maternity leave of one of our educational freelancers.
