Location:             Anthony Nolan Head Office, Hampstead  (with occasional working at home)

 

We are looking for an outgoing and enthusiastic Supporter Services Assistant to join our Supporter Services team. This is a varied, exciting, and challenging position, you will need to make use of all of your previous experience in customer facing roles.

In the role you will respond to and engage with our supporters by phone, letter, e-mail and on social media, so confidence in communicating with a wide variety of people is essential. We are the first point of call for supporter enquires.

This is an exciting time to join our team as we have implemented a new database, and this will drive our future ways of working. You would bring your adaptability to change and enthusiasm to improve process ensuring our supporters are at the heart of everything we do. 

Over the next few months we will be refining our supporter enquiry management system and you will play a central role in getting this right.

The Supporter Services Assistant will be responsible for processing income from a variety of means – cheques, online, Just Giving, phone donations and many third-party suppliers. You will be responsible for maintaining supporter records such as address change, contact preferences updates, name changes. Experience of working with databases and attention to detail are essential.

The Supporter Services Assistant will also be responsible for investigating and resolving supporter queries, escalating these where appropriate.

Main tasks of role:

  • Answering inbound telephone calls, responding to Supporter questions or forwarding as appropriate
  • Answering enquiries received by email, post and social media
  • Making outbound telephone calls to our supporters to maintain their engagement with Anthony Nolan. 
  • Processing donations on the database and ensuring our Supporters are thanked
  • Amending supporter details as necessary
  • Ensuring team process documents are up to date
  • To identify key supporters or opportunities and to highlight with the appropriate teams.
