And now we want you to join our lifesaving team. We are looking for a Website and Email Manager to help our Digital Engagement team become a centre of excellence within the organisation. Everything we do online has a direct and meaningful impact on our lifesaving work.

It’s an exciting time to join our team. Anthony Nolan has launched an ambitious new strategy with a key strategic aim to harness the collective power of our supporters to champion and enable our lifesaving work. We are embarking on a wide-ranging change programme to fundamentally transform how we engage with our supporters. This programme of work is being sponsored at the highest levels of the organisation and will constitute a radical change to our culture and ways of working.

Website Improvement has been identified as a key workstream of the overall programme, and marketing automation – especially via email, will also be key to our success.

We have ambitious targets, and to achieve them, we have set ourselves a mission to make Digital Engagement personal and purposeful. Our website and email marketing activity need to be fit to deliver this mission, ensuring that we offer a joined-up experience that inspires our supporters to take action, provides a frictionless mechanism to do so, and cultivates them to build a deeper relationship with the charity.

The Transform programme will provide us with a platform for ongoing improvement to ensure that we continue to deliver the best possible experience for supporters into the future.

The Website and Email Manager role is a new one in the team and you will have an opportunity to build a reputation for excellence as we develop a completely new experience for supporters through our website and email comms, including supporter journeys.

Acting as Product Owner for these key channels, you will work closely with the Website Project Delivery Manager to ensure that our new website and email marketing meet the needs of our supporters as identified in the user research we’ve undertaken.

You will also be responsible on an ongoing basis for the overall user experience they provide. You will plan and deliver digital campaigns, projects and communications and build digital confidence throughout the organisation to support a more devolved model of content production.

We are looking for a creative and driven individual with a meticulous eye for detail who can prioritise effectively, championing user needs while remaining focused on achieving our organisational goals. You will be generous with your skills and expertise, using a coaching management style to bring the best out of your direct line report while building digital confidence in a virtual team of subject matter experts across the organisation.

You will work on and support a range of demanding conversion-focused digital marketing campaigns and projects. To succeed, you will need to have experience of working in a busy environment, managing conflicting deadlines.

Experience of content management systems (CMS), Email Marketing Systems (EMS), Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO), and understanding of website analytics, preferably Google Analytics, are essential.

You will also have a knack for project management, and be able to organise your time efficiently as well as ensure that our communications are well planned and stakeholders kept to task.
