Title: Youth Engagement Support
Salary: UK Living Wage
Contract: 3-months fixed term
Hours: 35 hours per week
Location: Home based
We’re Anthony Nolan and we save the lives of people with blood cancer who need a stem cell transplant.
We’re unique. Thanks to the incredible stem cell donors on our register, our pioneering research and our passionate fundraisers, we give the chance of life to three people a day.
But we won’t stop there. We want to be there for everyone who needs a transplant; from finding a match, through every step of a patient’s transplant journey. And together we can reach the remarkable day when we can save the lives of everyone with blood cancer.
And now we want you to join our lifesaving team. We are looking for a Youth Engagement Support to join our Register Development Team on a 3-month fixed term contract.
As the Youth Engagement Support, you will be part of the development and expansion of our Youth Engagement programmes in schools, colleges and universities, supporting us to reach more potential stem cell donors in the 16-23 age group across the UK.
Increasing recruitment through Youth Engagement work in schools, colleges and universities is a key method of ensuring we bring the right donors onto the register. You will be helping us to ensure we can find the best possible matches for people who desperately need a lifesaving stem cell transplant.
To succeed, you will need to be able to work in a busy environment, managing conflicting deadlines.
This role requires you to travel to a variety of different locations across Scotland, so you must be prepared to travel (travel expenses will be covered).
You will be expected to spend the first week in our London office (27th - 30th August).
