Communications Manager

Anti-Slavery International is seeking an experienced, ambitious Communications Manager to join its team in London, UK.

The Communications Manager leads on all external communications within the broader Fundraising and Communications team, to help position the organisation with strategically relevant audiences to help us to influence real and lasting change for the 40 million people experiencing the horror of modern slavery.

Responsible for a brand that has been delivering change in the forefront of the campaign to end slavery for over 180 years, the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that we remain focussed, creative and effective at reaching key people and encouraging them to join the movement to bring freedom to everyone everywhere.

Anti-Slavery has helped put modern slavery firmly on the agenda and now we need people who can help us finish what we started. For this we need a dynamic, experienced professional with impeccable PR, editing and policy communications skills. You’ll be at the forefront of a communications campaign that is helping to bring freedom to millions of people around the globe including here in the UK.

In return you’ll be part of a small but growing team of professionals that has already seen significant increases in communications outputs and fundraising income in the past three years and will be shortly developing its communications strategy 2020-2025. Alongside this you’ll advise the senior team on communications objectives that help Anti-Slavery to deliver its mission, and work closely with policy and communications colleagues to deliver change on the ground and across decision makers.

For more information and to apply, download the Recruitment Pack and fill out the Equal Opportunities Monitoring Form. Applications close midnight on 12th April 2020.
