Job Opportunity for a Part-time Appointments Administrator (Fixed term)
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our award-winning team as a part-time Appointments Administrator. This is a fixed term position to cover adoption leave from January 2022 to November 2022.
We are looking for someone with an excellent telephone manner and interpersonal skills, a flexible approach, excellent IT skills and experience of working within a fast-paced challenging environment. More important is a can-do attitude and a commitment to making the appointments service for clients the best there is. We prefer that you have an understanding of the voluntary sector through voluntary or paid work, but this is not essential as we will provide thorough training and induction.
Beacon Counselling is a registered charity and exists to improve the lives of people experiencing mental and emotional distress. To achieve this Beacon provides counselling across the borough of Stockport and beyond.
The Appointments Team arrange client appointments throughout the week. This role involves the following work pattern:
Hours: 16 hour roles per week plus ability to provide flexible cover over periods of annual leave within the team
Days: Monday 13:30- 21:15
Tuesday 10:00 – 19:00 (Remote working)
Venue: Beacon House, 50-52 Middle Hillgate Stockport SK1 3DL
Pay: £9.50 per hour
Holidays: 23 days a year and 8 days public holiday – calculated pro rata. (Increase 1 day per year of continuous employment up to maximum of 25 days)
In addition, you are expected to attend an office team meeting every month. This may not necessarily take place during your normal shift.
